Great ‘Grand Dame’ of a hotel sensitively upgraded in the most spectacular location.
Pros:

Room 304 has a spacious terrace and recently refurbished bathroom. Best room we have stayed in on what is probably our fifth visit.

Best way to arrive in FR and see Annecy
Pros:

Location!! Amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Hôtel appears remodeled and done well. Room was comfortable, lounge was grand, garden out back was well attended and beautiful- staff were helpful and engaging.

The view incomparable to any other view. Perfect and most beautiful pictures like.
Food is good. Breakfast very good. Reception and staff are friendly . .

Cons:

Need to keep the flowers in the concrete large pots outside hotel on stairs etc as it will give the hotel a fantastic view.

Fabulous hotel worth another visit
Pros:

Beautiful building, amazing location and fabulous gardens and lake shore

Cons:

Rude spa east European staff made more difficult as she was unable to communicate in French nor English. Others made it for it especially reception & concierge staff were nice & welcoming
