Trop de monde au dîner notre table réservée a été donnée à qqn d’autre et nous avons mangé dans une salle de séminaire, où 2 tables avaient été installées à la hâte

Excellent location, good food and service
The property itself is stunning and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection of pastries and hot dishes. The communication prior to check in was good as well with quick and helpful replies from staff ☺️
My wife and I checked in around midnight following an event we had at a nearby property. Initially there was nobody at the check in desk however loud music blaring! I rang the bell for a solid 5 minutes and even rang the phone to get the attention of someone. Eventually, a male “night porter” showed up looking flustered. He had no idea what he was doing and after around 15 minutes of waiting (in complete silence) he admitted he didn’t know how to check us in. I explained we had a very long day and urged him to give us the key to room 10 (I knew this was our room) however he handed me the key to room 3. I then had to ask where the room was and he replied that he didn’t know. Eventually.. showing us upstairs where we found the room. Around 15 minutes later as we were getting ready for bed he knocked the door and said “I’ve been told to put you in room 10.”
By this point we had unpacked and got changed and so I politely declined the move!
This experience was disappointing and in all honestly left us both a bit baffled. Never known anything like it! It definitely took the shine off of what is a beautiful hotel unfortunately

The bedroom and bathroom were nicely decorated and furnished and the general areas were welcoming.
The breakfast was disappointing, I think no-one likes tea and coffee served from thermal jugs!
Beautiful hotel and lovely clean room
We were put upstairs in one the top floor rooms which was lovely but it was at least 30 degrees in there, no air conditioning, no breeze through the windows. There was a basic fan but it didn’t do much. The water also was only slightly warm so we had to shower in slightly warm but chilly water which was ok since it was so hot. A very expensive stay for basic comforts which was disappointing.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, food and accommodation was superb.

This hotel was fabulous in every way. Very clean, very helpful staff. The decor and room were very classy and felt upmarket. Nice to see such quality and attention to detail. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
We were really surprised by how good the facilities were - we hadn't been for six years and the rooms have been redecorated and refurbed beautifully. It was a really comfy room and bed, and we had two great sleeps which doesn't often happen in a hotel. Best shower I have had in a hotel. Loved how individual the rooms were, and although it was quite a small room it really had every thing you would need.
All staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Good location for walking into town or down to the beach.

Our room was in the rafters so a bit stuffy. We opened the windows only to discover a wasp nest right in the rafters next to our open windows. So shut the windows. Being nature lovers, we’d prefer to leave the wasps than complain. It’s obviously an old building. Not a problem for us!
