This is a fabulous air conditioned apartment in the centre of Heraklion which has everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. There are amazing cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The owners are super helpful and there is a 24 hour luggage storage facility next door..

Fantastic location. Nice clean and spacious room with plenty amenities. Self check-in with detailed instructions leading up to arrival. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
The room was impeccable. It was sooo clean. The shower was big. All necessities were available. Strong A/C and wifi.
The location was perfect. The area was safe and clean and just 5 minutes walking to the Lion fountain and 10 or so minutes to the fortress. There is a supermarket around the corner. The instructions for check-in were super easy to follow.
The only difficulty was the stairs, as they are tight and its on the 2nd floor, but it wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
We loved it! Such thoughtful hosts- they even left sun cream! Super spot and we had everything we needed and it was secure.
Nothing, water was hot and air con cool. Perfect!
The apartment was a oasis of clean air in a sea of cigarettes smoke.

Spending millions of euros on cigarettes, but not having enough running water (the owner insisted that we need to save water by not changing bed linen every day and limiting our showers) because they don't use the money on solar panels to power water desalination.

The location, comfort, ease of access to everything, including the taxi in from the airport. Everything was excellent. The location, with lots of little coffee shops close by are brilliant for breakfast. Our favourite was Frankly My Dear, just follow the pavement to the right as you come out of Cathedral Suites, and out to the square where the cathedral is. Frankly My Fear is just at the end of the steps to the square.
We were only here for three nights, arriving late on the first evening. We ate at Apiri on the 2nd night, located on a lovely small street with lots of restaurants, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. On our last night we ate at Leonis IV, just above the Morosini Fountain. This was a pleasant surprise, location, food quality and service. We also did the open top bus tour and the Venetian fortress whilst here. A very comfortable apartment, very well situated in an excellent location, close to everything you will need.
We were on the 2nd floor, so it was a bit of a hike up the winding stairs with the luggage. I think this will be quite common in buildings in the city centre.
