Excellent apartment-style alternative to the downtown hotels
Pros:

Yacoubian Suites is an excellent alternative to Cairo's run-of-the-mill and cramped downtown hotels, for a similar price. There are two rooms on the 7th floor, far enough removed from street level to mute the cacophony of car horns (though not completely). My suite was spacious, modern, nicely appointed, with excellent air-con and bathroom, plus a large bedroom with a big bed, and a living room area with couches and TV, a fridge, and coffee maker. I had a nice breakfast included, delivered daily, but I'm a Genius so you might not be as lucky. 😉 There's a tiny balcony too. Abdo, the manager, was always available via Whatsapp, and will meet you to get you settled in. The location is superb, in the very heart of downtown along Talaat Harb. Roll out the front door, and life's rich pageant awaits!

Cons:

The only infrastructure issue is with the building, which is 120 years old. It's a lot tidier than some other interiors I saw, but it has one of those old-style lifts that's a little creaky and capricious. Be prepared to push the button several times -- you'll get the hang of it. But during my week-long stay, there were a couple of occasions when the lift was briefly out of service, and I had to walk down seven flights, and once back up. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues, in which case this might not be the most fully-reliable option. Everything else is great.

Odalar temizdi ve güzel dekore edilmişti. mutfağı yeterliydi. odalarda klima vardı ve gerçekten sıcak havada çok iyi oldu. bina asansörlüydü ve güvenlikliydi. Abdo çok yardımseverdi ve bütün sorularımızı cevapladı

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft in Downtown Kairo
Pros:

Sehr geräumige Unterkunft mit sehr schönen Zimmern und tollem Frühstück. Der Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen, sehr gastfreundlich und hatte tolle Tipps. Die Lage ist sehr zentral mitten in Downtown im 7ten Stock eines historischen Gebäudes - Gebäude und Aufzug dienten wohl auch oft als Filmkulisse. Der Eingang liegt etwas unscheinbar zwischen einen Duft- und einem Anzuggeschäft.

İşletmecisi Abdurrahim çok ilgili alakalı bütün dertlerinizi yetişiyor istediğiniz isteklerinizi yerine getiriyorum

Giriş biraz ürkütücü ancak otel çok güzel süet 2 oda şeklinde ya da 3 odalıları var rahat bazen gürültü olabiliyor ama çok sıkıntı vermiyor

Bello e comodo
Pros:

L'appartamento è spazioso e pulito, si vede che è stato ristrutturato da poco. Il proprietario ha dotato L'appartamento di ogni confort, c'è tutto sia in cucina che in bagno. Camere spaziose con grandi finestre, TV in ogni camera e letti comodi.
Appartamento al 7 piano con ascensore.
Molto centrale come posizione, scendi e ti trovi nella movida del Cairo.
Il proprietario è sempre disponibile ed è molto gentile, ci ha fatto trovare anche un dolcetto al nostro arrivo. Lo consiglio.

Pros:

B&B in posizione perfetta per visitare tutti i punti di principale interesse della città.
Appartamento con 2 stanze + bagno puliti, ampi e ben arredati.

Cons:

Il B&B è all'ultimo (nono?) piano di un palazzo la cui scala che porta ai vari piani è decadente e non pulita. Se si supera lo shock iniziale va tutto meglio.
La colazione inizierebbe alle 8.30 ma noi abbiamo dovuto scegliere per una colazione ridotta (migliorabile per scelta e freschezza delle cose da mangiare) causa partenze prima delle 7.00 per gite in giornata.

Hébergement SUPER à tout point de vue, situation, confort, et propreté.
Un Immense merci à Abdel qui a répondu à tous nos souhaits et même attendu 3h du matin pour nous accueillir. Sa présence a été un des éléments heureux de ce séjour.

Il cairo allo yacoubian
Pros:

sebbene fossi inizialmente perplessa per il mio timore che non fosse all'altezza delle aspettative di noi europei, devo invece dire che lo Yacoubian mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso. tutto come descritto, pulito, grande e confortevole.
sicuramente Abdu ha fatto la differenza: mi ha sempre risposto e assistito su what'sapp, prima dall'Italia e poi anche in loco e ha prenotato per me servizi ed escursioni con grande puntualità ed efficienza.
sempre disponibile a esaudire ogni mia richiesta e a dipanare i miei dubbi. Il cairo è una città complicata per noi europei, e la sua assistenza mi ha sempre molto rassicurato.
