This is a very nice place if you aim to stay far from the city. Our suite had a big size, very well designed. Big bathroom with a tub. We stayed for one night before we leave to the airport and we needed a place like this to relax. We met the owner just before we leave, she is very nice person. Actually we found a welcome card with warm words at the room when we arrived, we really appreciate that.
It was bit confusing to arrive and no staff there “I think it was their off day”. We had the instructions to find our room but because the place is an old house so it was bit challenging to find the room. The parking area is too small so we hardly found somewhere to park “we blocked the wheelchair entrance and left our number “ which we were not happy about. The bed is too soft for us, so it was not comfortable.

Location a bit hard to find and driving in the Bergen area is not very easy when you're not used to it (GPS often gets confused).

This is a beautifully and sensitively restored old guesthouse with only two rooms, retaining much of its original character and charm. We were the only guests during our stay, which made it wonderfully peaceful and quiet.
Although the hotel is set up for self check-in, our lovely host still took plenty of time to welcome us personally and show us everything. The house is beautifully situated above the water, in a very peaceful setting.
We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and received the same warm and friendly service there.
As the hotel is located a little outside Bergen, having a car is certainly convenient. However, the tram is also easily accessible with a pleasant 20-minute walk through the quiet neighbourhood, and takes you directly into the centre of Bergen.
We really enjoyed our stay and would happily book this lovely place again.

Breakfast poor, left in the fridge the day before. milk not available, even if preciously requested.
No table for breakfast, only small side table (sticky and dusty ).
Toilet was dirty, hair and used paper not flushed, some used and dirty toilet paper in a basket among spares. we requested bathroom cleaning at least second day.

Uncomfortable mattress, too soft, you really sink in it.
2 windows without curtains.
Only 4 drawers available but 1 was full of clothes.
Rooms ONLY at 3rd floor, no elevator, stairs too narrow to carry large suitcases.
In Booking only good reviews are visible but other sites show similar bad reviews.

Super cozy atmosphere, the room and the restaurant was amazing. We have a wonderfull diner and the room was spaciuos with everything we need.
We liked everything! The villa has only 2 suites and it seems that the second one was empty. Given that the restaurant was closed Monday-Tuesday, we were alone in the huge house, and that gave more authenticity to our stay. Easy to check-in and we enjoyed the no-key access. Location is a bit far from Bergen, but if you have a car, there should not be a problem, only 20-minutes drive.
TV in the room would be nice, but on the other hand it could ruin the atmosphere a bit :)
The property was nestled in a quiet suburban area with beautiful views of the lake. The room was so tasteful and charming with modern amenities. Staff, in particular, Monica were very responsive and friendly.

Pas de coin vraiment pratique prévu dans la chambre pour y pendre le petit-déjeuner qui y était mis à notre disposition, le restaurant étant fermé.
