The Killarney Avenue Hotel does have an onsite, underground parking lot. Please note that parking is on a first come, first served basis due to it's limited availability. If the car park is full when you arrive, there are many public parking lots within walking distance of the property. Public car parks are generally free between the hours of 18:00 – 08:00 Monday through Saturday, and free on Sundays and bank holidays."
Payment Notice:
Unless prior arrangements are in place, we will process payment for your stay on arrival to the hotel. The hotel requires a valid credit card to be presented upon check-in for the registering guest. The card should match the name of the reservation as made and must be presented for Chip & Pin verification. It is not possible to pre-pay for a third party guest due to GDPR and privacy restrictions. We reserve the right to receive payment or request pre-authorization of the full amount for the stay period based on the credit card details provided upon check-in. We do not accept cash payment for room reservations. We do not accept debit cards to secure rooms or for pre-authorization on check-in due to ongoing issues with releasing same. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause guests.
Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the booker’s credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival. This places the pre-authorized amount in a holding state which also temporarily reduces one’s credit limit. The pre-authorization is not a charge and no funds will be debited from the account at this point, this will also not be reflected in the credit card statement since no charge has been made. The credit limit will be released back to the cardholder within one week depending on the issuing bank.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

The hotel Manager was excellent and authentic, Front desk staff really difficult and language barriers. unable to verify if breakfast had been included in booking.
Breakfast staff difficult unable to understand and difficulties in even relating things like asking for "marmalade" or hot water.
understand import of foreign workers but should be able to speak and understand English as spoken language in Ireland
Difficult many foreign workers unable to understand and communication and language barriers. Abrupt and often very poor communication the hotel Manager made up for that and did look after us which really helped.
i have been part of the Northern pilot program for foreign workers in Canada and a strict rule was that English had to be spoken at all times and also the ability to speak and understand in English was strictly enforced.
With respect the attitude at main reception was poor overall and the hotel reception opened with "hello" unable to think if I had actually reached the hotel admit after hours as I live in Canada but very poor communication and took three attempts to even know that I had reached the hotel.
All praise for the Hotel Manager who I think is working to his best ability and suffice that he was wonderful.

It was beautiful and serene location. The one Manger, Johannes (hope spelling his name correct. He was awesome and truly exemplified customer service. He was the best service in all our stays in Ireland. Your hotel is so LUCKY to have him as an employee. He is worth every penny you pay him. I am NOT related!
