Great place to rest! Peace and quiet.
Pros:

Great place to isolate and relax, great views, hot shower great pressure. Good breakfast. Possible to have dinner if you book it a bit on advance if you need. Lovely dog called Pellucci and a cat, they are very friendly and easy to pet. Very quiet place. Nothing around and a great view.

Cons:

It sits in a high altitude so sometimes can be covered with clouds or even rain. If you go downhill and hit the "city limits" it can change completely the weather. As said isolated in the top of the mountains at bad weather can be a bit of a challenge to get there. Recommend to arrive on day light time.

Séjour en plein cœur de la cloud Forrest.
Pros:

Emplacement magnifique, personnel charmant. Simple et confortable. Très bon dîner sur place. Balade à la cascade

Cons:

Ce n’est pas un point négatif mais un peu important à prendre en considération : pour accéder au lodge il y a plusieurs kilomètres de piste. 4x4 obligatoire pour passer cela sans problème.

Amazing host and location
Pros:

Amazing small hotel run by a warmhearted family. To access will recommend a high ground clear véhicule, but the view is worth it! They also offer a visit of their coffee farm which was probably the most authentic activity we done in CR.

Un posto magico con vista sul vulcano. Personale gentilissimo, ci siamo sentiti davvero accolti - la cagnolina Pelosita è stata una compagnia festosa. Ambienti essenziali, puliti e vivibili.

Pros:

La habitación que nos dieron tenía una ventana espectacular en el baño que nos gustó muchísimo. También por ser San Valentín nos dieron una botellita de vino de cortesía, un gran detalle.

Cons:

A pesar de ser verano, al estar el lugar tan metido en la montaña, el clima estuvo lluvioso y nublado, lo que no permitió apreciar las hermosas vistas que tiene, pero eso no es un problema del alojamiento.

Lugar tranquilo, para desconectar del estrés, trato amable, como no conocíamos la zona y de camino no encontramos lugar para desayunar, en el hotel nos brindaron servicio de desayuno. Es en una parte alta de Monteverde, y si gustas del frío y tranquilidad

Sehr einfache Unterkunft.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr bemüht.

Cons:

Es war unheimlich kalt. Wir sind mit Pullover ins Bett gegangen. Die Wände in den Räumen waren nass.
Im Aufenthaltsraum/Restaurant war es kalt. Der Kamin rußte so stark . Der ganze Qual zog in den Raum. Unsere Sachen haben nach Rauch gestunken.
Wir sind nach der ersten Nacht abgereist.

Hotel caro y dolarizado para ticos. Hubiera agradecido se nos informara sobre el mal estado del camino pues íbamos en vehículo sencillo.

Soggiorno fantastico, staff gentilissimi, ottimo prezzo
Pros:

La struttura è incredibile, colazione ottima, il ristorante anche ci hanno preparato carne, pesce e anche varianti vegetariane. La gentilezza del proprietario è incredibile, spesso abbiamo cambiato i nostri piani e ci hanno sempre assecondato.
Per ben due pranzi ci hanno preparto un lunch box da portare in escursione.
Le stanze sono carine e il bagno grande.
Consiglio questo soggiorno nella zona di Monteverde a questo prezzo

Cons:

Uniche pecche della struttura sono le stanze fredde e la posizione, per arrivare alla struttura è necessario 25 minuti di strato dissestata. Infine data la nebbia non è sempre possibile godere della vista.
