Pros:

We upgraded and the room in the newly renovated tower was beautiful. the location is also great

Cons:

The pool was over run with a loud drunk group of adults and was not the peaceful oasis we were hoping for . The only available chairs were reserved but empty. We left as it was complete chaos. None of the rule posted were being enforced.

Service is Top Tier!
Pros:

We had a traditional king bed room in the original part of the hotel. We were offered an upgrade to the Iberville Tower with updated rooms for a reasonable additional charge but we loved the old charm of the original parts of the hotel and kept our room. It was small but all the space we needed for a couples stay. The view was nice of the river. Bed was comfortable and clean. What this hotel is top tier with is the service. All the staff was excellent and accommodating. We were celebrating out 25 year Anniversary and they made it extra special for us. We love visiting New Orleans often and will for sure stay here again.
