Pros:

Had one overnight stay here waiting for ferry to Orkneys following day. Great room very spacious super comfy bed - good roomy bathroom. Would stay again if ever I was back.

Disappointing.
Pros:

No breakfast hotel didn't provide food room only basis. Location ok. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Premises in need of total refurbishment. Very uncomfortable bed whole thing needing to be replaced. Poorly lit room & bathroom. Shower didn't work. What looked like rainwater ingress in one common area with part ceiling collapse. Unsecure street entry.

Great stay, will be back soon
Pros:

The room was a great size. Very comfortable. There is two bars, one is good for getting a bit of chat and the other for getting the laptop out.

Pros:

Good pint of Guinness.

Cons:

Lack of parking, but the owner very kindly moved her van to allow us to put our bikes on her space.

Thurso Accommodation
Pros:

Lovely large room, very comfortable bed. Even though the outside of the hotel is plain, the room was large and the bed was very comfortable.

Food was good in restaurant although not the hottest.
Pros:

The room was a standard room

Cons:

I had to wait 15mins for a staff member to come back to reception. I also had leisure centre staff to try and radio them several times unfortunately there radio was sitting on top of the desk at reception.
Several people where also queuing after 10 mins
A coach party arrived when reception staff finally came back they actually asked me to wait while they sorted out a full coach load .

Way too loud, dingy, but at least it was clean.
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

Wifi didn’t work, and we really needed it! And it was so incredibly loud. The beds had one flat pillow each and the place was quite run down

Overnight stay staff friendly but wouldn’t return
Pros:

The staff very friendly

Cons:

The location and the look of the property, was staying in an attic room which was nice but to get there walked past an obvious leak in the property which was damp smelling and rotten
