Important information:

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. A shuttle service from the parking area or from the train station can be provided upon request by the hotel between 8 am and 5 pm and against a surcharge.

In the mid-season (May/June and October) the elevator to the village center may have limited use.

There is currently a construction site with a crane in close proximity to our hotel. The work may temporarily affect the view from some rooms.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Beautiful location- requires a bit of walking- very comfortable and fabulous service!

Pretty ordinary. Cheap for a reason.
Pros:

Not much frankly. Old and tired.

Cons:

As a booking.com customer I feel I was given the worst room in the hotel. I had a view of a brick wall and the room smelt mouldy. At breakfast my designated table was behind the coffee station next to a Dyson vacuum cleaner. This is despite better tables remaining unoccupied. I generally find the facilities and service in Swiss hotels to be excellent, but not on this occasion.

Pleasant stay, good location, great breakfast.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great shuttle servie to/from train station. Geat breakfast selection. Use of elevator to access the Zermatt town level made it an easy walk to central Zermatt.

Cons:

Disappointed the pool and hot tub were only open to 8pm. Between daily activities and dinner times was not able to relax in the hot tub. If could be open till 9:30 pm would make the area more accessible.
