Important information:

Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. A shuttle service from the parking area or from the train station can be provided upon request by the hotel between 8 am and 5 pm and against a surcharge.

In the mid-season (May/June and October) the elevator to the village center may have limited use.

There is currently a construction site with a crane in close proximity to our hotel. The work may temporarily affect the view from some rooms.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful town!
Pros:

The pool and spa area was a beautiful treat to come back to each night. The staff were lovely and accomodating.

Cons:

The shower had no fixed shower head, only a handheld shower head unable to be fixed at head height. It just meant you had to hold the shower head to shower which was a little tricky to do while washing your hair at the same time. But other than that, all was lovely.

Pricey for room size and location.
Pros:

Wonderful view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. A little obstructed by a construction crane though.

Cons:

Was aware the location was high on hilltop. No shuttle from train station when we arrived. The room was very small for the cost. Breakfast was the same items each day. Could have variety on some days

Pros:

Nice stay. Good complimentary breakfast. Clean room with clean sheets. Their van came to fetch us from the station and back too.

Cons:

It’s a little uphill to walk but the whole of Zermatt is like that.

Top Lage eines „in die Jahre gekommenen“ in der Höhe gelegene Hotel
Pros:

Die Lage, mit Blick zum Matterhorn; Sehr schön, wenn auch „sehr anstrengend“ vom Bhf zum Hotel (Es gibt aber auch das Hotel-Taxi). Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und absolut toll, für die Hotelkategorie.

Cons:

Das Haus ist „in die Jahre gekommen“ - und schade, wird keine „ordentliche warme Küche“ angeobten (z.B. Abendessen).

Liked room layout with view to Matterhorn. Personnel were all lovely doing their duties perfectly. It lacks any real atmosphere to meet fellow travellers and share experiences.

Cons:

Several basic items are missing, most important a small fridge to put sundry items, fruits etc. Breakfast is sub-par nothing freshly prepared no omelettes. Very far from village centre. Finally prices are simply daylight robbery in all establishments a simple burger is 37€ , same item in an ordinary place costs less than 8€.

Great place for families!
Pros:

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—they were always ready to help with anything we needed.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and enjoy our time. And the highlight was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn—absolutely spectacular.

Situation calme avec très belle vue. Bienveillance des tenanciers, propreté et excellent déjeuner.
Pros:

Accueil très chaleureux, emplacement au calme et très bien situé avec vue sur le Cervin. Très bon buffet déjeuner. Piscine agréable pour la détente avec Jacuzzi.
