Location was great, easy walk into the city
Some call it nostalgic, others 'tired and worn out'. The bed was very uncomfortable, springs couldn't be ignored. Room was very small. Breakfast was only served from 8.30.am which was just too late.
The continental breakfast was lovely and kept us going all day. The staff were friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. The room and rest of the hotel were spotlessly clean. Nice and close to amenities with a central location

The rustic quaint decor was just the perfect place to come back to after experiencing the traditional and modern aspects of Jersey for the first time!
The staff at the Mornington were incredible! Especially at breakfast! What a lovely occasion this was every morning - freshly baked (on premises) croissants, fresh Jersey yogurt and cheeses and lovely, humorous staff who kept everyone jovial at the little tables.
We will definitely be back!
We were made so very welcome, it was almost like family. Christina is a lovely host and for breakfast (an amazing experience, the food was soooo nice) Rosalyn looked after us and was such a warm person to chat to.
We slept superbly. The room was a nice size and the bath/shower combo was really nice as I could choose how I wanted to get clean.
The bar was nice and even had the Rugby League on the telly (awesome).
Location was good and we chose on some days to walk into town and on others to get a bus around the corner.
Hard to find fault, it was lovely.

Christine, and Phillip were perfect hosts nothing was too much trouble, helping us find our way around. The staff Rosalie, and Annabella were very friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice.. The hotel is Quirky, but would come again it was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything. The smell of old Old shabby delapidated place and Cold hit me as a walked in. When got in the room felt and looked like a poorly cared for old peoples home. Dark and dingy . Very Busy roads, the noise of traffic from both sides of the room, when youre tired all you need is peace and quiet not constant trffic noise buttering your ears.

Hôtel au charme désuet idéalement situé près 1) d'un parc dans lequel la patronne nous a recommandé un restaurant sympathique ; 2) d'un pub au menu typique. Petits-déjeuners copieux avec beaucoup de choix.
Évitez la chambre n°1 qu'on ne peut pas débarrasser de son odeur de moisi/humidité. Le contact avec les serveuses a été un peu compliqué le premier jour.
Located a short walk from town. Car parking on site. Hotel next to a well maintained park with bandstand and children's play area. Plentiful breakfast with a wide range of choice. Very friendly and helpful staff
