Spacious rooms and very friendly staff. We had Breakfast and Lunch and it was excellent. They cater for your needs and can cook anything you request.

L’ensemble du personnel est le propriétaire sont très sympathiques et aux petits soins pour les clients.
Les chambres sont très propres et très bien équipées. La piscine est impeccable, il y a un entretien régulier de tous les espaces. le responsable est à l’écoute de nos besoins. Il nous a trouvé un pressing, et nous a même organisé le Safari en ayant un très bon prix pour la Jeep. Il nous a également aidé pour nos démarches auprès de l’aéroport qui a perdu nos valises, il y a juste à côté un restaurant exceptionnel avec un couple très gentil et des prix très abordables. Si vous n’avez pas de chauffeur Il y a des tuktuk Si vous souhaitez vous rendre à la ville la plus proche car l’hôtel est effectivement un petit peu éloigné.

Le personnel été très sympathique et très respectueux, la proximité de la route principale desservant les lieux touristiques les plus proches.

El manager del hotel es muy facilitador. Se celebró la final del mundo cuando nos hospedamos allí; y al retransmitirse tarde por la noche, volvimos tarde al hotel, estuvo atento para abrirnos la puerta y no nos puso ningún problema.
Todo el personal del hotel son encantadores, el desayuno está muy rico y la habitación es amplia y cómoda.

Das Personal war super freundlich. Wir konnten alle Ausflüge easy über das Hotel buchen. Jeden Abend genossen wir ein sehr feines Essen im Hotel.

A wonderful and authentic stay – we would definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Tropicara and felt truly welcome from the very first minute. The whole team was incredibly kind, but the manager, Rama, deserves special thanks. He was exceptionally friendly, warm, attentive, and always tried his best to make sure we had everything we needed. You could really feel that he genuinely cared about his guests.

During our four days, we had an amazing time. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the area. We visited Sigiriya (Lion Rock), several other nearby rock temples, and took an elephant safari in the Eco Park, which was much less crowded and more enjoyable than some of the more famous parks.

Back at the hotel, we relaxed by the pool, the kids had lots of fun, and we even spent time with the staff opening fresh coconuts together. These little moments made our stay feel very personal and authentic.

The food was excellent. Every evening the staff made sure we were happy, always asking if there was anything else we needed. The Sri Lankan dishes were delicious, and the desserts were outstanding.

Our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we even appreciated the USB charging ports next to the bed. Fresh towels were always available whenever we needed them.

Overall, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. If you’re looking for a warm, authentic place with wonderful people and a perfect base for exploring Sigiriya and the surrounding area, we can highly recommend Tropicara.

Prachtig! hele ruime kamer en het eten is echt heerlijk, een uitgebreide menu kaart en veel verschillende keuzes. prachtig zwembad en een heel schoon verblijf!

It was in a good location, quaint property, the staff were lovely, very accommodating withallergies, and the food was delicious!

Bardzo miła obsługa, duże pokoje, czysto, fajny basen i pyszne posiłki

Het eten was echt uitstekend! Onwijs lieve familie die het hotel runt. We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Het is mooi, schoon en het zwembad is een fijne plek.

Fijn en luxe verblijf, ruime en schone kamers. Lief personeel wat alles voor je doet. De eigenaar bracht ons om 4.45u naar de Pidurangala rock voor een hike. Eten was hier ruim en heerlijk!
