Not the best experience
Pros:

Swimming pool on the far side was clean and nice and very quiet. The bar next to it is also very cozy and peaceful

Cons:

I chose Diamonds Malindi to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, and it was honestly a bit disappointing experience.

There were clear hygiene issues, including insects around the food while dining, which was unacceptable. The room cleanliness was also below standard, and housekeeping did not feel thorough.

Some of the service interactions were unpleasant. My girlfriend was approached about wearing a bikini top while going to lunch, which I understand could be a concern, but it was not handled well or applied consistently.

We also had a private pool, yet the poolside cushions were removed early in the afternoon, which limited our ability to enjoy the space.

What makes this more disappointing is that this was meant to be a special birthday celebration, and the overall experience fell far below expectations. I truly expected better from a place like this.

Beautiful,stunning hotel,just needs some tlc

Cons:

I very rarely write negative things about a hotel,but I have to be honest as this is one of the more expensive hotels.On arrival at first every thing seemed fine,went to put money in safe ,safe dident work,went to phone reception,no phone in room,walked back to reception (long walk)safe was fixed quickly.went to make cup of tea,we had milk sugar coffee,tea,wait for it ,no kettle.had no electric several times and no water atall for two of the six days.on the second occasion of no water I walked to reception to tell them we had no water and was told if it was not back by morning to phone reception,!Rant over and I know we can all be unlucky sometimes,I don’t want to put any one off visiting,it really is stunning hotel

Could have been better. 6 days without room phone. What could I do incase of emergency?
Pros:

Location.
Very good staff, almost all, polite

Cons:

I got a lower room than one I paid for. The one I paid for for old & broken. The cheaper one was fairer.
But stayed and extra two days trying to connect.
Will get a refund?
Couldn’t have a safe fixed for 7 days.
Food wasn’t good,
Please don’t post me comments.

Pros:

Zwembad was prachtig en de airconditioning

Cons:

Oude matrassen en kussen, douche werkte niet goed koud water en was niet schoon,meeste personeel niet echt vriendelijk, kamers gedateerd.

Cons:

Some of the staff were colder than in other places in Kenya, it really depends of who you speak with
It was a struggle to find pool beds after 10am, an easy fix for the hotel to buy a few more
I feel the hotel is overpriced - especially the buffet
