Room was great. It made a big difference having two elements, microwave and washing machine/drier. Fabulous having electric blankets. When we walked out the door we were right on Lambton Quay.
Hotel is getting older but some of the features were beautiful such as the lifts, lights and artwork.
Staff were so lovely. Great location.
location was great and central. Easy walking distance from stadium and TePapa etc.
It was so noisy at night. We were on the 8th floor and incredibly noisy until after 2 am. Room was VERY tired. Mismatched free standing heaters and dehumidifiers. Heated towel racks that didn't work. Net curtains ripped and windows filthy. Bathroom tiles cracked. Carpet needed changing. Furniture like a student flat!
Very disappointed as I had read ok reviews / rated 4 star - expected its to be on the basic side but still maintained - but Quest you have let your name down with a substandard product. Felt it was the equivalent of 2-3 stars at best./ hostel type accomodation. On our floor lobby by our lift was a hall table which was covered in maintenance type tools and batteries - no-one moved it the entire time we were there.

The location was excellent but the room itself was also just lovely. It was comfortable, roomy and facilities were excellent. We really loved it! The receptionist was also so friendly, helpful and just super nice! Nothing was ever too much! She told us about great coffee close by and we really appreciated it :)
This wasn't a big problem and I know I could have asked for this to be changed, but when I booked the accommodation as a two bedroom unit, I did presume both bedrooms would have queen beds. The second bedroom was set up as two singles. I decided just to sleep in the single bed and know I could have requested they be put together. This would be the only feedback.

The hotel is rather dated and only had two small oil type heaters to warm the place.
Rooms were good, comfortable and good location.
Delay in checking in (2+ hours), laundry and rubbish left in elevator, mess on table in landing outside elevators.

Amabilité du personnel qui a rapidement réglé un bug de réservation: nous avions réservé pour 3 personnes et avons découvert une chambre double à l'arrivée (check in auto, reception fermée). Via l'assistance tél, la responsable s'est présentée rapidement et nous a donné une suite de 4 personnes.
Pas de bon chauffage, comme ça semble le cas à peu près partout en Nouvelle-Zélande.
Excellent central location, easy walk to water front, Stadium, shops, eateries. Spacious room. Great shower. Comfortable bed.
Staff were amazing, but lucky I arrived right on 5pm I would have never known how to get in was not told the doors were closed/locked at the time.
Location was great....price was great!
Very noisy!!! I actually heard no street noise considering right in the centre BUT other people closing their main doors - was so loud, even shook the room. We were near the emergency stair well and when it rained (which it did nearly all of our stay.) we were heard running water constantly. Could hear the lifts, shower was insanely loud, extractor fan in kitchen was like a space ship taking off. Fridge was even loud.
Dirty!!! our Shower was dirty, even had a left over razor in it. The stove was covered in grease and then I made the mistake of looking up at the extractor fan!!! Oh god it was bad!. frying pan that was put away was not washed.
Great location, beautiful building and helpful staff, would definitely recommend.
The bathroom in our suite had double doors with a crack down the middle making it less private when using it.
Location and good living space in apartment.
One of our rooms wasn’t ready until after 3pm (check in was 2pm) which wasn’t convenient as we were leaving for a function at 3pm and reception closed at 5pm. Net curtains were ripped and should have been replaced. Tiles cracked in bathroom. Windows dirty. Rest of room was tired but functional. Great location though and very spacious 2 bedrooms.
Fantastic shower pressure, great location, easy access.
TV didn’t work second night we were there. Also lots of banging kept waking us all up - think it was the elevator.
