Pros:

Really tall, narrow steps in original building, no elevator.

Very pleasant - on our second visit
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent; location very distinctive

Cons:

As a vegetarian, I would have liked more than one choice at the restaurant. This is a repeating problem - and I think restaurant cooks should pay more attention to offering appealing dishes. It is also not only vegetarians who eat veggie dishes

Við borðuðum kvöldmat niðri á hótelinu í skemmtilegum gömlum matsal. Þar var einnig morgunmatur.
Pros:

Gaman að dvelja á Sauðárkrók. Skoðuðum okkur um og fórum í sund á Hofsós

Cons:

Það var fúkkalykt á baðherberginu og það hefði mátt vera lítil hilla við spegilinn.

Great.
Pros:

Very nice breakfast in a very nice ca. 1950´s dining area. Staff friendly, quick check-in and the room was fantastic, old style but with all the things I needed, Good coffie machine, a fridge and a nice desk. Good closets and a big bed.

Cons:

The matress was too stiff for me but as the room was nicely heated I slept on the thick blanket with no duvey

Great visit to a really interesting area
Pros:

Great staff, especially the Scottish front deck employee. Really went out of her way to make are stay great.

Super welcoming historic hotel with amazing amenities.
Pros:

This was a super place. The welcome was warm. The historic building was full of charm, including a big desk in our room and a cozy dining room downstairs. The hot pool right outside our room with adjacent sauna and cold plunge was totally unexpected and absolutely delightful. I had it all to myself for over an hour. The hotel provided slippers and robes as well as towels. The usual kettle with tea and coffee was present along with a small refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dining chairs were covered with sheep fleeces!

Cons:

The room could have had more lighting. The fan provided was not effective for moving air which was a problem with the room being too warm and having no cross ventilation.

Gut für Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Grosses Zimmer im moderneren Nachbargebäude. Top Restaurant aber auch etwas teuer. Hot Tub und Sauna.

Cons:

Umgebung ist ziemlich runtergekommen und Baustelle.
