Logeren in een historisch IJslands hotel
Pros:

Historisch gebouw en leuk restaurant. Ze hebben een traditionele hot pool. Je krijgt ook een badjas om ernaar toe te gaan

Cons:

Badkamer is piepklein en douche loopt slecht door, dus direct een zwembad. Stopcontacten op ontzettend onhandige plaatsen

Gutes Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp von 1-2 Nächten.
Pros:

Super Frühstücksbuffet in einem urigen Restaurant. Das Hotel ist sehr niedlich und auch die Zimmer sind historisch. Wir waren im Neubau und hier wurde alles mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal, das Hotel hat sogar seine eigenen kleinen Hot Tub aus einer Geothermalquelle.

Cons:

Das Bad hatte keine Heizung, war damit morgens etwas frisch.

Mooi authentiek hotel met moderne kamer maar ontbijt had beter gekunt.

Mooi gebouw met een eigen bron

Cons:

Het ontbijt voor ongeveer 15 personen had men maar 1 brood gebakken en het brood wat na een half uur kwam was van binnen nog bevroren.

Historic old building, good location, friendly staff, reasonable breakfast.
Very good beds and pillows.
Only hotel in Iceland during this trip ( total of 12) with dark blinds for white nights !!
It has an excellent attached restaurant

Cons:

Our room was extremely small as well the bathroom. Shower has a plastic curtain that sticks to your body. Tiny sink and no space for bottles or even brushtooh.
Although we know they use spring hot water for bathroom, the smell of sulfur is difficult to tolerate
