Cons:

The only minor downsides were that there is no elevator and there was a noticeable odor in the room, seemingly coming from the bathroom area. Hopefully this is something that can be addressed as the hotel settles in.

Best location in Town

It is few steps away from the most beautiful attration of central Asia "Registan Square – Samarkand's most famous landmark, surrounded by three magnificent madrasas with stunning blue-tiled architecture.

Замечательная гостиница, расположение лучше не придумаешь, через дорогу Регистан. Внимательный и очень вежливый персонал, в номере есть всё что нужно, очень чисто: номера убирают каждый день. Завтраки просто супер, большой выбор на любой вкус.

Very good choice to stay in Samarkand.
Pros:

Location was prime, right next to Registan Square.
Staff was friendly and allowed earlier check in.
Good Value. Overall was very clean.

Cons:

It's next to a football field, and it can get a bit noisy at night.

Excellent Location
Pros:

The staff was cordial, helped with our luggage. The location was unbeatable just across the road to Registan Square. There are a lot of restaurants and ice-cream shops around. Small shops where you can buy things like water. Bank is nearby for currency exchange for foreigners. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

A lift or an elevator would make it more comfortable.
