African Bungalows

African Bungalows est un petit hôtel intimiste, bien équipé avec un personnel très serviable et gentil. La nourriture est de qualité. L’établissement est très calme.
Les prix de la laverie sont très bas et au panier ce qui est appréciable (d’autres hôtels facture à l’item). On s’y sent bien, c’est un havre de paix.

The best place you can stay at- it's two minutes from the beach, the staff is amazing, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is magical.i hiighly recommend it.

We never thought a stay could be this wonderful!
From the very start we were so welcomed and the territory amazed us with its beauty and peace. At first we chose this hotel exactly because of its look and good WIFI, and it exceeded our expectations at every step!
1) Manager Angelina and the other staff were so caring and attentive, it felt like home! They were always there for us, to bring water or tea, or just ask how's it going.
2) We had HB and they even gave us the menu from their sister Dhow Beach Hotel, so we didn't need to go there.
3) They also offer free sunbeds and access to the beach at this sister hotel.
4) It's also only a 5 minute walk to the beach from African Bungalows itself.
5) Breakfasts were really delicious, with fruits, eggs, pancakes, and many different options.
6) Water was FREE all the time.
7) WiFi was top notch. I was able to work for several days and we didn't have any power shortages.
8) They also cleaned and sprayed our room every evening against mosquitos.
The whole stay was really amazing.

It was a wonderful experience to relax at the African Bungalow. The manager Evangelina, was not a only caring but also extremely helpful and professional. We did not worry about a thing for the time we were there.

Best service I have ever had in a hotel. The hotel owner checked on us multiple times throughout the stay, and the manager, Evangelina was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, accommodating and so helpful. Evangelina and the kitchen staff definitely made our stay - nothing ever seemed too much trouble for them. The room and facilities were nice and breakfast was great. Having access to the sister hotel was a huge perk as it allowed us to use beach lounges free of charge. The property felt very secure and there were staff / security guards present at all times. I was joined by my partner, but definitely would felt safe here as well if I was a solo female traveller.

The location is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxing, and everything we needed was within easy reach. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or a longer trip, it’s the kind of place that quickly feels like home.

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel in Zanzibar. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed.

One of the best surprises was that we were given access to their sister beachfront hotel, where we could spend the day enjoying the beach, facilities, and beautiful ocean views. It was a fantastic bonus that made our stay even more special.

If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable place with exceptional hospitality, I would definitely recommend staying here.

I liked the fact that there is a pool, but unfortunately it can't see the sun because of a lot of trees around it, so expect to miss the sun most of the time. Furthermore, water was very cold.

I had a great time in this Hotel. They know exactly what is hospitality. Everything was amazing!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The place was clean, peaceful and had such a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly. Everything was well looked after and cared in every detail, the place looks like a picture 😍
I would have happily extended if I didn’t have any plans.. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay! ❤️❤️

La struttura é curata nei minimi dettagli. É piccola e accogliente. La colazione e la cena sono davvero molto buone. Le stanze sono molto belle e super pulite. Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile, ti fa sentire a casa anche dall’altra parte del mondo.

J’ai tout aimé et Dieu seul sait combien je peux être compliquée et exigeante !

- Tout d’abord l’incroyable gentillesse du personnel, ils sont VRAIMENT au petits soins pour vous. Je n’ai jamais été traitée aussi bien dans un hôtel et pourtant je voyage énormément ! Chacune de mes demandes ont été exaucées avec le sourire. Ils vous conseillerons, répondront à vos attentes.
Ils ont accepté de me faire un Check-out tardif mon avion étant tard dans la nuit, en ne moyennant pas de frais supplémentaires ce qui est un geste immense et je les en remercie encore . On ressent une réelle ambiance familiale et conviviale et surtout une envie de faire les choses de la façon la plus professionnelle possible. Ici le client est vraiment roi !

- La propreté est IRRÉPROCHABLE, n’ayez aucune crainte à ce sujet.

- Le confort de la chambre, à Zanzibar les lits sont souvent durs , mais le lit de ma chambre était vraiment parfait ni trop dur ni trop mou.

- L’établissement est très récent et cela se ressent dans le mobilier, la douche est incroyable vous aurez toujours de l’eau chaude, et une vraie pression contrairement à beaucoup d’établissement .

- Gel douche, shampooing, crème pour le corps, sèche cheveux, service de blanchisserie, parapluie , massages, carafe d’eau potable gratuite, serviettes , taxis sont mis à votre disposition . Et probablement encore beaucoup d’autres services que j ai oublié .

- la position dans Nungwi est vraiment TOP . À 3 minute à pieds de la plage et de l’un des meilleurs beach club de Zanzibar. A 2 minutes des shops pour vos souvenirs ou autres achats. Et a environ 10 minutes à pied d’un ATM. Vous serez en immersion dans le village de Nungwi qui est ultra safe (je suis une voyageuse solo et a aucun moment je me suis sentie en insécurité à Nungwi).

- le cadre , très beau jardin tropicale avec palmiers, fleures, balancelle, piscine, des chats qui sont bien soignés et adorables .
