Casale Alessandri

Andando un po' sopra Massa Martana (un borgo ricostruito con grande perizia e gusto dopo il terremoto del 97) giungiamo al Casale Alessandri. Qui la ristrutturazione fatta è eccelsa: nulla è fuori posto, tutti i particolari sono giusti e tradiscono la grande passione per il luogo dei proprietari. Ogni stimolo sensoriale viene gratificato: dalla vista sublime del paesaggio ai sapori prelibati della cucina che, non per niente, troneggia sovrana nello spazio principale (come il palco di un teatro, dove il proprietario è l'attore principale). Insomma, un luogo imperdibile dove ci si perde volentieri e dalla calma ci si lascia sopraffare. Imperdibile!

An exceptional stay from start to finish. The food was outstanding (hats off to the chef), the setting incredibly tranquil, and the pool offered breathtaking views across the countryside and surrounding mountains. The host was wonderfully accommodating and attentive, making the entire experience feel effortless. A truly beautiful and relaxing escape — highly recommended.

Une chambre très agréable avec une grande terrasse sans vis à vis.
Le nombre restreint de chambres permet d’avoir un séjour très paisible.
La piscine à débordement est très agréable et très calme.
L’accueil très discret est un grand atout.
Pour finir le dîner est superbe avec beaucoup de finesse. On ressent le plaisir du cuisinier qu’on voit travailler dans sa cuisine toute vitrée.

Super Nice pool with beautiful view and kind hosts

The setting is wonderfully tranquil and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rustic charm of the property gives it an authentic Umbrian feel, while still being comfortable and welcoming.
The highlight for us was the stunning pool, surrounded by beautiful countryside and breathtaking views. Louise & Fredrico were so accommodating & cooked both a delicious lunch & dinner for us.

The breakfast was fine for continental but no bread provided . Our room was very nice and beds comfortable with plenty of space in the room . The pool also was very nice . Louise clearly wanted to help us enjoy our stay with information of surrounding area and booking restaurants if needed. We enjoyed our stay there. We had dinner one night and were dissapointed with the meal and the time it took to serve

Such an authentic Italian experience. Great food from a professional chef and the warmest greeting and hospitality. Could not recommend Casale Alessendri enough.

Onze kamer Porcini was zeer ruim, prachtig ingericht en met idyllisch privé tuintje. Louise en haar man hebben ons een onvergetelijke tweedaagse bezorgd!

Chef Federico and Louise are fantastic hosts. The rooms are warm and welcoming and very clean. The food is fantastic. We were here for five days and also did the cooking class for one day. Every day the chef made something different as a three or five course meal depending upon our choice. The cooking class is exceptional fun.
We were able to make day trips to Orvieto, Assisi, Todi, Spello, and Spoleto and come back for a fantastic meal every evening. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria.
