Excelente hospedagem em Las Galeras!
Pros:

Amamos a hospedagem, o lugar é tranquilo e próximo a infraestrutura local. Os proprietários são super simpáticos, nos atenderam muito bem, nos deram dicas. O café da manhã é uma delícia tbm!

Loved visiting Las Galeras. So much better to me than Las Terrenas.
Bungalows Colobri is a quaint cozy clean family owned property. Small yet enough for a three night stay. Enjoyed the pool early morning or after a hot beach day. Has an outside shower to wash the sand off. Location ! Perfect 10 minute walk to Playa Grande. Right around the corner of the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are at.
Will definitely return when we visit Las Galeras again.

Cons:

They only accept cash or local bank transfers. No credit cards taken.

Estadia em Las Galeras
Pros:

Piscina muito gostosa, chuveiro bom. Rua bem tranquila, muito próxima das praias e da avenida principal. Estacionamento próprio e muito seguro. Optei por não tomar café na pousada (paga-se a parte se quiser tomar). A propriedade tem poucos chalés e no período tivemos a pousada somente para nós, não havia outros hóspedes. A cidade de Las Galeras é bem diferente de Las Terrenas, que além de maior, tem mais infraestrutura. Torna-se um lugar mais pitoresco e rústico, o que não diminui em nada a experiência. Não deixe de visitar o Rio Caño Frio!!

Cons:

Os lençóis poderiam ser de algodão, o que diminuiria a forte sensação de calor ao deitar na cama, já que por conta da temperatura, as vezes nem o ar condicionado dava conta. A porta do banheiro é uma cortina. Não há cofre no quarto e nem frigobar.
É uma pousada com uma lista extensa de “regras” (que são colocadas logo que você chega no lugar), isso não me incomoda, já que sou uma pessoa adulta, consciente e responsável, mas acaba tornando a experiência um pouco pesada logo na chegada, quebrando o clima de descontração que normalmente nos encontramos ao viajar.

Pros:

Piscine, chambres en excellente état, personnel gentil, ménage fait chaque jour, stationnement sécurisé.

Cons:

Le petit chemin en terre accidenté (50m) pour y accéder, mais il sera asphalté bientôt (été 2026) selon les propriétaires.

Séjour apaisant et chaleureux dans un coin paradisiaque de la République dominicaine.
Pros:

J'ai bien aimé ma chambre dans le jardin avec vue sur la piscine et la petite terrasse. La cuisine n'est pas loin et je pouvais conserver quelques fruits dans le frigo. La situation est parfaite, proche de la rue commerçante et des plages. L'accueil de Sylvie et Yveric a été exceptionnel. Nous avons eu des échanges très sympa.

Cons:

Rien sauf la rue en terre qui mène à l'hôtel et qui devient boueuse quand il pleut. Mais ça ne dépend pas de l'établissement.

Muy buena atención por parte de los anfitriones. Instalaciones muy cuidadas. Sitio perfecto para desconectar y relajarse. Camas cómodas.

Cons:

Se debería mejorar el camino de acceso al alojamiento. Y poner un timbre en la puerta de la calle.

Clean and convenient, but more transactional than welcoming

The place was clean and there was convenient parking available on-site.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything particularly negative, everything was overall okay. However, the stay felt quite basic and functional. If you’re simply looking for a place to sleep, it works well. But if you’re expecting a more personal experience or some connection with the owners and local atmosphere, this might not be the right place. It’s essentially just a place to stay, and that’s it.

Pros:

The bungalow is very comfortable, clean, and offers plenty of storage space. It also features a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying dinner, and a pool. The location is excellent, the town is easily accessible on foot, and the most beautiful beach we visited during our stay in the Dominican Republic, Playita, is also within easy reach.

The hosts are really kind and welcoming. They kindly waited for us to check in even though we arrived after 6 pm, and they gave us lots of great tips on things to do in the area and restaurants to try.

Un endroit paisible et calme juste à proximité de la rue principale et à 10 minutes à pied de la mer .
Le couple des propriétaires qui sont toujours aussi peut soins , disponible , fort sympathique.
C’est primordial.

Het is schoon met een fijn bed. Dagelijks schone handdoeken. Veilig met een poort afgesloten waardoor je auto ook veilig staat.

Cons:

De verplichting tot contant betalen en het gemis van een kluisje in de kamer.

Pros:

The room was super comfortable, I had the best sleep in days! Las Galeras can get noisy at night but I didn’t hear anything from my room which was great. The common areas are not huge but more than enough as there are only 5 bungalows – the pool, for example, is quite big. The owners are fantastic people and try to help you in everything they can. So far this is a well deserved 10/10.

Pros:

Espacio de tranquilidad y paz. Preciosas instalaciones. Un remanso de paz. Excelentes anfitriones.

Cons:

Nada. Sólo tener en cuenta que el acceso es pista sin asfaltar y con baches y poca iluminación, por si llegan de noche.
