Welcoming, helpful, staff at reception, large bedroom, well equipped bathroom, beautiful grounds. Lovely atmosphere in the green room bar - super staff members there. Wonderful outdoor seating areas - suitable for most weather conditions!

Cons:

The seating area was reserved for a local football club to watch a game, thus the sound levels while we were having dinner in the Garden room, was uncomfortable. Also, the service at dinner was only ok, we had to keep asking for drinks, and a side dish was forgotten, but was charged for.

Our stay at Barberstown Castle was absolutely wonderful. The property is stunning, full of history and charm, while still offering all the modern comforts you could want. Walking through the castle and grounds truly feels like stepping back in time.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained. We also enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant, where the food and service exceeded our expectations.

If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience in Ireland, Barberstown Castle is an outstanding choice. Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway or simply to experience a piece of Irish history, this is a place you'll remember long after you leave. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Ireland.
