Super friendly staff, perfect location - but not for everyone!
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel because it is right next to Amsterdam Centraal. The staff was super friendly and the room comfortable.
However, be aware:
- The hotel is also a coffee shop, where people smoke. If this is an issue for you, don't book here
- It is an old Dutch building with it's typical narrow and steep stairs and no lift. If you travel with big suitcases or generally a lot of luggage, don't book here.

I enjoyed my time at this hotel with all its surprises--steep staircase, lovely room and view.
Pros:

Location was great, within walking distance of the Main Train Station. My room overlooked the canal system, so that was a bonus. Breakfast was not included, but Amsterdam is certainly not short of places to eat. I found a very nice restaurant around the corner where I could sit outside and enjoy my coffee and croissant.

Cons:

No elevator, so I needed assistance to get my bags up the windy and steep staircase. Thank goodness my room was on the second floor.

Pros:

The hotel is a short walk from the central railway station. Easy even with two large suitcases. It is situated between two picturesque canals so lovely to look out the window. Beds were very comfy, showers great, size of room good. We were there when it was 38 degrees and the air conditioning was a saviour. The fridge was also great for keeping our drinks cool. Great spot to explore the city.

Cons:

The stairs were a killer. Having said that, the guy at reception carried both bags up to our room. So grateful! Getting them down was a case of sliding them!

Hotel con un’ottima posizione e ben tenuto
Pros:

Magnifico mini hotel in pieno centro, a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ed in una zona molto buona e piena di locali, ma comunque tranquillo e silenzioso.
Struttura pulita, bagno completo di doccia e letto molto comodo.
Dai commenti degli altri utenti leggo che la scala é scomoda: é vero, ma quasi tutti gli edifici di Amsterdam hanno la scala all’olandese e spesso non si puó installare un ascensore negli edifici storici; quindi lo considero un problema che non esiste e non ci ha creato disagio.
Alla reception ci hanno tenuto i bagagli per qualche ora senza nessun problema.

Cons:

É andato tutto bene, grazie allo staff molto gentile.

Pros:

Muy cerca a la estación de Ámsterdam central, todo estaba muy ordenado y limpio, excelente vista a los canales.

Cons:

Hay que subir 5 pisos en escaleras demasiado inclinadas. La ducha y el sanitario están en el mismo espacio, la ducha no tiene cabina, cortina ni nada que la separe del resto del espacio del baño, por lo cual, todo queda mojado al ducharse.
