Petit hôtel sans prétention mais qui correspond au prix très abordable et surtout avec une équipe très accueillante malgré la barrière de la langue (peut-être éviter d'appeler directement l'hôtel au téléphone et privilégier WhatsApp) et mettant à disposition une navette.
Problème dans notre chambre d'eau chaude dans un premier temps.. puis d'eau tout court.
La cama era súper cómoda, la ubicación era buena para nosotros porque no se escuchaba la mezquita pero estaba un pelín alejada del centro. El agua caliente de la ducha salía pero tenías que estar un buen rato en espera
La habitación estaba limpia y en si todo el hospedaje pero en la mañana nos encontramos una cucarachita muerta en el baño y habían algunos mosquitos pero supongo que son cosas que no se pueden evitar
Preis und Ausstattung angesichts der Lage und des lokal üblichen Standards war wirklich sehr gut. Frühstück ist normal, aber gut.
1. Scharfer Glas-Splitter auf dem Boden entdeckt, der durch schlampige Reinigung des Zimmers nicht anständig entfernt wurde.
2. Eine Leuchte an der Decke funktionierte nicht, ao dass ein Teil des Zimmers dunkel war
3. Es fehlen in den Zimmern die Haken für Jacken, Taschen, etc. an den Eingangsbereichen der Zimmer - das ist einfach absoluter, undiskutabler standard!
4. Das Personal muss besser Englisch verstehen können. Bitte dort Fortbildungen initiieren.
Lage, Preis und Ausstattung angesichts der lokal üblichen Standards war wirklich sehr gut.
Personal sollte eventuell besser geschult sein.
We chose Christika homestay for their price/value and we weren't disappointed. We only had one night as we waited for the next morning to board our boat for a 3 day trip. The location is near the airport, in a more quiet neighborhood (side road). Rooms were ok and matched the photos/description. Christika Homestay picked us up with 2 cars as we were a family of 5 plus luggage, so that was very generous. Drivers waited for us already when we're still at immigration at LBJ airport. All went smooth, can really suggest Christika Homestay if you're looking for a quiet, clean but no frills overnight in Labuan Bajo.
It's a bit off from the harbour area where all the restaurants, coffee shops and most importantly the boat trips/travel agencies are. You have to keep this in mind and this means you're dependant on accepting the prices that local drivers ask for as there are no official taxis and Gojek/Grab only works for Motorbike pickup (so only one person) or food/drinks delivery.
Breakfast was simple and we skipped most of it. But then again you have to take the price into account.
We came to Christika for one night on our way to a Komodo Cruise. The hotel is great for a short stay: clean, friendly staff and good AC. What made the say special was the service from Joe. He helped us plan for a 6 day tour across Flores to see all the highlights for after our return from the Cruise. We had a very friendly driver who was always on time. We had a wonderful trip on Flores with his help. I highly recommend staying at Christika, ask Joe to help you out!
It is a bit further from the city center but they have a good and cheap taxi service.

The staff were so helpful, rooms were clean and had everything you need. Just a short bike ride into the centre. Breakfast was good
