Perfect stay in Shymkent
Pros:

The hotel is quite new and well designed. The rooms feel spacious and light with good lighting and having a balcony was a bonus. The bathroom was also very well designed with a great shower and well lit.
Breakfast had an excellent selection of hot and cold food and more varieties of fruit than we had anywhere else in central Asia!
Also very good value and staff are friendly with reasonable English.

Cons:

It is close to a busy road which is useful for getting taxis but can be a little noisy if your room faces the road.
