Leider war das weibliche Personal nicht freundlich zu uns. Wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer wurde am ersten Tag nicht gemacht und bei Nachfrage war die Antwort einfach "ah dann machen wir es morgen". Als wir am letzten Tag um ein Lunchpaket gebeten haben der zumindest ein Sandwich, da wir sehr früh los mussten und nicht frühstücken konnten, kam ein unfreundliches "machen wir nicht.

das Dreibettzimmer war so zwar klein, aber aber das Bad war eine Frechheit. Eine Gästetoilette die in der Verlängerung eine Dusche hat - also winzig klein und das gepaart mit einem unangenehmen Duft aus dem Kanal.

Alles wäre kein Problem gewesen, wenn wir uns willkommen gefühlt hätten und man uns etwas freundlicher begegnet wäre.

Sunday evening we wanted to eat from the snack/bar menu and were told this was not available as the chef was on her own and already had 20 people for the evening dinner. The restaurant was fully booked so we were forced to get a bus to St Helier to have food.
The pool heating pump broke down so the pool was unheated and although there was a notice, a hotel without pool would have been cheaper to book so I feel I overpaid for facilities.
The property seemed to be running on very liw staffing levels with some doing multiple roles, not ideal when you need something although the staff who were there were very friendly and weredoing their best.
The beds on castors on a laminate floor had a habit of moving when sitting on them or even rolling over which was not ideal, especially when going to sit on the edge.

Overall it’s in a state of disrepair, some rooms are unacceptable and there are areas which appear to have started renovation work which has been abandoned

I had numerous communication with the hotel as I was bringing dogs, not until I checked in did they tell me there were extra charges for dogs. It’s not mentioned in any of the messages that it’s an extra £15 per dog per night. There is no mention of this extra charge on their website. I took this issue up with a manager who just told me it was policy. I found the customer service poor. Upon checking in no details were given about breakfast or diner. I wouldn’t be staying again. We were there a week.

They need to offer more vegetarian choices at dinner. They offered only 1 vegetarian main dish in the evening.

My bed was awful .. Very uncomfortable and thick heavy duvet . Spoilt the few days that I was there . I would come back as there were far good things than bad .

The beds were on wheels and moved a bit.

Pool wasnt heated

Some of the bedroom furniture could do with updating - it’s a bit tired. Some of the items were missing, e.g hair dryer, dressing table stool; but supplied on request

The door to the bathroom had clear glass panels in it rather than being opaque or a solid door; this seemed like a very odd choice although we were fine with it as a couple. While the rooms are very nice some of the corridors are a little worse for wear, especially the bannister on the stairs to access the rooms felt loose. Some of the outside space around / behind the tennis court was poorly maintained and had some broken furniture. It was also hard to find staff when we were trying to check out.

When paying extra for a family room, I requested an extra large double bed and a single. This ended up being two single beds pushed together which was quite uncomfortable when sharing with my partner and the bed for my son was a sofa bed which wasn’t overly bad just not what I expected for the price we paid for the extra family space.

The food was disappointing. Breakfast is buffet style so hot food becomes overcooked and the choice was limited. The scrambled egg was awful. We booked the evening meal once. My husband’s dinner was the worst curry he has ever had. The chicken was dry, the sauce was water and it had no flavour. My fish was ok
