A good break in a great location.
Pros:

Location was very good. Close to trams which was highly convent and great food options around.

Cons:

Pillows could have been a little more comfy and the building was very warm with no real option for cooling (the fan was very loud and clunky).

Fire drill was not handled as well as it could have been. Not ticking off names as they were being called out defeated the point of a role call.

Nice hotel but very expensive and not worth the cost.
Pros:

Room was very clean. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Vouchers were given for not having room cleaned. Location was good for the purpose of my visit.

Cons:

the tv remote in my room did not work and it took long time for someone to come and sort it out, when I was really needing to relax after a stressful journey,
I booked an accessible room and the shower was very high to step in and out of.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Leith.
Pros:

The hotel was in a great location; just a few minutes walk from the tram stop. We caught the tram straight from the airport to Leith. The room itself was really large and bright and luckily, very cool when it was hot outside. There were coffee/tea making facilities, a safe, ironing board/iron and even a fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate from the small plates menu (the chicken thighs were amazing) and sampled the full cooked breakfast (which was really tasty and well cooked). If you don’t want to eat in the hotel there are a number of excellent restaurants nearby.

Cons:

We bid to upgrade our room (a double room) and we’re upgraded to a Signature suite for an extra £225 for 3 nights . It was a good room, but a little dated with some wear and tear present (threadbare carpet and a chair with tears on it). I am sure I read that there would be a roll top bath and I was disappointed that there wasn’t one - it wasn’t an issue really, just a shame. Honestly, I don’t think the upgrade was worth the money.

it's a great location and if the disabled facilities were improved a bit, we would be back
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The car park very handy

Cons:

We booked an accessible room. There were no rails to help get in and out of bath and not quite enough room to get a wheelchair easily into the bathroom. There was no emergency pull cord in the bathroom

Pros:

Die Lage ist super! Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war angenehm.

Cons:
