Met our criteria: super clean and fabulous location just a block away from Victoria tube station, Victoria bus station and Victoria train station.
1. Tiny spiral staircase super hard to carry small suitcase to top floor for 68 and 73 year olds.
2. Very hard to find any accommodations in London that don’t get rumbling and noise from the otherwise wonderful underground system. This was mentioned in previous reviews as especially bad in the basement units but was barely noticeable on top floor, where we were.
3. Very hot and not air conditioned. Would not stay there if outside temp > 70.
4. The Victoria pub across the street was wildly loud the first night, and had to keep our windows wide open to get some air. But live band knocked off at 10 ish and was ok after that and other nights (not Friday).
5. Street noice at the crack of dawn (4:00-6:00 AM) was worse noise than the live band. And again windows were open to try and get some air.
6. Pillows were worthless, huge, hard blocks and had to sleep without any pillows.
Comfortable bed, quiet and easy to access. Highly recommended!
Apartment itself was grand, clean and well appointed. Great location within London - which was good and also not so good, see below.
And that great location also meant that the underground ran under the building - noisy ; and my particular studio was right at the front door, ground floor and pretty much directly on the street- so also noisy. So for a work trip I wouldn't book again I just didn't get about sleep.

The location was excellent for us and what we wanted to see and do. The apartment was clean and the directions to enter were clear and easily followed. We especially appreciated the fan, because the temperatures were very hot in London while we were there.
We wish there was air conditioning in the apartment, also ice trays.
Great location for Victoria Train station/tube/bus station and London attractions.

Could do with a refresh. Paint is a bit tired, cracks need filling. Replace the rusty bin in the bathroom and although clean there is a thick layer of dust where the bathroom sink pipe goes into the wall.
Struggled to open windows.
Could hear the tube go by.
As a single lady I personally wasn’t too keen going down the steps into the basement flat late at night. This is purely from a safely aspect.
Great location!! We were able to walk to the Buckingham palace and the Big Ben in the morning before our flight. It was perfect. And the host was quick to answer my questions! Great stay

Could hear upstairs but wasn’t a problem until they got up at 6am!

Found out a little late that there was only one toilet roll... and no milk for tea/coffee.

Never had any issues but wouldn’t trust the door in terms of security. Flimsy, no deadlock from the inside only a single chain. Kept all valuables with me when out which is not ideal.
Perfect location for Buckingham Palace, the apartment was better than I expected, clean, well equipped and comfy bed, even provided a couple of tea bags which was amazing.
