Im großen und Ganzen gut
Pros:

Die Lage im Wald war gut. Der Biergarten vor dem Haus war einladend und schön unter Bäumen, es gab ausreichend Parkplätze, ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Die Sitzmöbel im Zimmer und auf dem Flur waren stark verschlissen und sollten erneuert werden.

Leuk voor een nacht
Pros:

Ze hebben een heerlijke en gezellige biergarten waar je ook lekker kunt eten, flammkuchen zijn aan te raden. Zeer vriendelijke jongen achter de bar.
Ontbijt was goed en uitgebreid genoeg.

Cons:

Wij hadden meer van het hotel verwacht als je de foto's ziet. Entree naar het hotel was nogal vaag, rokend personeel voor de ingang en je moest door de eetzaal lopen om te kunnen inchecken (was eerst uitzoeken waar je moest zijn).
Wel uiterst vriendelijk personeel.
De kamer (nr 12) was best gedateerd, stoelen waren jaren geleden al aan vervanging toe maar goed het gaat uiteindelijk om de bedden en die waren prima voor die ene nacht die wij hadden.
In de badkamer hing een putlucht en zaten haren aan de muur.
Een aantal raamkozijnen hadden schimmel.
Erg gehorig op de gang.

A historical location with sprawling grounds and beautiful buildings; great for families
Pros:

This was the final, and eighth, hospitality spot for us on a two-week intergenerational family trip. We stayed in three separate units. There is a large primary facility on one side of the street, housing rooms, both restaurants (fancy and beer garden) amidst an incredible sprawling garden ground and playground. The playground is like a tropical-themed paradise for kids complete with zipline, trampolines, seesaws, a wading pool with a waterfall, and picnic tables. Expect sand and bring towels! Also, there are a lot of wasps - harmless but annoying.

Across the street are three separate buildings, palatial cottages, which house multiple guest rooms. We had two units next to one another in the first unit - and they were beautiful with ample space. The hallways were well lit, signed, and clean. The second unit, where we were moved to when we requested our third room not be in the main house across the street, was smaller and less impressive. One window was screwed shut, and it was missing some basic hygiene amenities, but we were fine.

The history of the place, the natural gardens and grounds surrounding it, and our shear exhaustion made this suitable for our needs while being a memorable last stop.

Cons:

Wasps at the beer garden were annoying, and the staff were a little slow to help us. Instructions were a bit confusing and there was no signage on the buildings to help us know where to be or what to do. It seemed a little like you had to be a local to navigate. We took a while figuring out that our third unit was on the second floor and we were in the correct building because no doors had signs on them in the second cottage.

Im Zuge eines Konzertbesuches bei sehr gutem Wetter da gewesen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll geführt
Pros:

Die Liebe zum Detail das ehrwürdige Anwesen in einem hervorragenden Zustand zu bringen bzw. zu halten. Die Aussenanlagen sind wunderschön.

Cons:

Die Nähe zum Flughafen und die daraus entstehenden Geräusche. Im Bad könnte man optimieren.
