Super erholsamer Kurztrip😀

Weg van de wereld en dat mag wat kosten.
Pros:

De locatie is heel bijzonder, zo op de kop van een schiereiland, omgeven door water. Grote schepen en kleine zeilbootjes varen voorbij en grote aantallen verschillende vogels vliegen in de directe omgeving. Duikers gaan te water.

Cons:

De woningen uitgekozen vanwege gelijkvloers. Om alleen in de woningen te komen moet je een trap op (circa 10 treden) en ook weer af (5 treden) plus wat drempels en dat was voor mijn 85-jarige moeder minder ideaal. De verlichting in de woning laat te wensen over. Het automatische schakelen in de badkamer en in het toilet vonden wij irritant. De verlichting in de slaapkamer is onvoldoende; je ziet nauwelijks iets in de kledingkast en het bedlampje hangt zó hoog dat je op moet staan om erbij te kunnen. Er hangt noodverlichting binnen boven de zij-ingang van de woningen (in de woonkamer) en die brand zeer fel met een hel wit licht, 24x7. Vloerkleed in een van de woningen krulde sterk omhoog aan de randen. Te weinig borden en glazen e.d. in de keukens en geen schaar.

Voor herhaling vatbaar!
Pros:

Een heerlijke plek om te wandelen als je je hond mee hebt genomen. We hadden de eerste avond kibbelingen besteld bij 't Veerhuis en werd aan de deur bezorgd. Op een dienblad op mooie borden, zo lekker gegeten na een lange dag. De keuken en badkamer zijn van alles voorzien en zien er prima uit. Wij hadden als bonus de pooltafel in huis en een dicht terras met sauna, wat een luxe! Overal waar je kijkt zie je de Oosterschelde, heerlijk tot rust gekomen. Een aanrader en aardige mensen van de residentie!

Cons:

De bedden waren zachter dan we gewend zijn, maar niet onoverkomelijk.

Quiet getaway with dog
Pros:

We stayed for a couple of days and had a wonderful time. The balcony and large windows are perfect for watching ships pass by, and the area is incredibly peaceful, uncrowded, and beautiful for long walks. We loved that our dog was welcome too. The AC worked very well and the kitchen was well equipped. We felt welcome and would happily return. It’s not directly on a beach, but the dike and surrounding area are absolutely amazing!

Gute Unterkunft, um einfach mal ein paar Tage zu chillen

Wir wollten einfach nur in Ruhe aufs Wasser schauen und Seeluft genießen von daher war diese Unterkunft perfekt für uns. Ohne Auto oder Fahrrad erreicht man dort gar nichts weder Restaurant noch Einkaufsladen, aber das wussten wir schon von der Beschreibung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Cons:

Ich hatte wegen meiner Mutter mit Rolllator nach einer ebenerdigen Wohnung geschaut, das war sie auch, leider gab es am Eingang dann doch ein paar Stufen zu überwinden, um in die Wohnung zu kommen.

Pros:

One of the best getaways we’ve had in a long time. This place is truly special. The peace and quiet make you feel as if you’re at the edge of the world, with no one else around. If you’re looking for a calm and relaxing escape, this is the perfect place.
The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We’ll definitely be back and next time for a longer stay, so we can fully enjoy the beautiful nature and peaceful atmosphere.
