Like staying at a backpackers with your own room
Pros:

The room was ample size.

Cons:

It was old and run down and cold. The little heater provided was way too small to heat the room. The shared kitchen was smelly and dirty.

Rubbish .. will not be using booking.com again as this is the second time they have put us wrong
Pros:

Never saw any staff at all. Broken electrical socket, not enough linen for the time of year. Very shabby. Crap painting on the wall. Rubbish shower you had to use a step to get into it, water pressure can only be likened to an 80 year old man with end stage prostate issues. There was a dead tui on the walkway for at least 24 hours. We booked 3 nights but only stayed 2

There could have been staff around. The wifi network as per the book in our room did not exist. The password provided did not work for any of the visible networks. The tv had only 2 channels .. rugby and eden ... did not suit us

There was an unpleasant odour in the kitchen.
Then my husband had an awful experience in the shower, where he turned the control to what he thought was cold and got burnt, scolded.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The place was dark and old, bugs crawling on floor in bathroom. Shower is dangerous. No towels. Kitchen with utensils were useless. Vehicle parking miles away.

Pros:

Rooms were ok. And liked the swimming pool.

Cons:

Kitchen oven pan were dirty aswell as outside gas bbq. Rusty stove tops.. kitchen needs new stoves. There were dust on the eating plates. And no lids for the pots. No electric frying pan. Shower taps yo high for kids.

Basic accommodation comfortable and practical
Pros:

Location and rooms were comfortable if a little tired

Cons:

Communal Kitchen area requires a complete overhaul and update, hot plates and cooker took an age to heat up and cook food properly. Utensils and cutlery old and worn require replacing.
Whole kitchen area was in complete contrast to the other areas of the motel and required a deep clean.
