It was ok
Pros:

The lobby is beautiful. I appreciate having the local Little Owl cafe on the first floor. The staff were friendly. I ordered food to go from Pasque and it was delicious.

Cons:

My room was super tiny and it smelled like smoking meat the whole time. The lighting was not nice and the towels weren’t absorbent.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Denver
Pros:

Das Populus hat mich wirklich rundum überzeugt. Die Lage zum Convention Center perfekt, die Zimmer sehr schön ausgestattet, sauber, komfortabel und vor allem sehr ruhig. Das Personal war einfach unglaublich freundlich und professionell. Und das Restaurant in der obersten Etage ein wahrer Genuss, sowohl bei den Speisen als auch den Getränken und dem Service. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich die stringent nachhaltige Gestaltung und das Konzept dahinter, ebenso die vom Hotel unterstützten Initiativen. Populus ist damit eindeutig ein "Unicorn" und das erste Hotel, was mich zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit überzeugt. Glückwunsch dafür! Die ausgefallene Architektur begeistert.

Good, but not perfect. Pricey
Pros:

Funky, good vibe, eclectic and sophisticated. Excellent coffee and great restaurant.

Cons:

Rooms are quite small and half of the bathroom (sink etc) is in the bedroom, not where your shower and toilet is. Lighting is difficult in front of the mirror. You’ll have to make a request with reception to have someone come and make up your room.

Letdown
Pros:

Early check-in without paying extra.
Very nice view from my room.
Water fountain in each floor.

Cons:

Front desk area is small and kind of crowded on Friday, much better on Saturday.
Room was very small for the price (not even space for a chair to put clothes or at least for sitting), no desk in the room, the bathroom is so small and the sink is out, the area of the bathroom/closet/sink is very dark and bad illuminated, it was hard to find my black clothing inside a totally black closet with no light. The sink keeps with stains of water/soap all the time.
The room ceiling is like not finished, and the ceiling in the halls is full of exposed pipes. I do not know if this is "modern" style, but it looks terrible in my opinion. I felt like in an oil platform.
Furniture in the Executive Lounge a bit old.
I know I probably paid for the cheapest kind of room, but I was expecting something more decent for the price. I will return to Hyatt or Brown next time in Denver.
