The room was very nice. Clean. Quiet. Spacious. Everything you would want. Staff was very courteous and the location in down town was perfect. Restaurant is worth visiting. Lastly the coffee: really good coffee!
We booked this with breakfast included. When we arrived we were told that it is only a USD 15 breakfast voucher per person. This is not enough to actually cover breakfast. We felt lied to. The quality of the breakfast is very good, but the experience suffered due to this. Also, the room price was a whopping ~100 usd more per night due to various taxes. This should have been included in the price shown in booking.com. We were also not happy about this and will contact the platform to complain. A shame really, because the actual hotel service was fantastic, but false advertising is not something i accept quietly.
Architecture of the hotel was quirky and interesting and love the windows in the room. Although room is on smaller side, it's designed in a very functional manner. Bed was comfortable and the daily activity pass with free entry to museum and memberships was a nice little touch.
Amazing food and service
Frühstück a la carte war sehr gut, der Service aufmerksam.
Unfortunately crowded at breakfast time and at the coffee corner.
Leider war es zur Frühstückszeit voll, ebenso die an der Rezeption befindliche Kaffeetheke.
The intentional thought, behind each aspect of the hotel, from when you walk in the door to the decor to the cozy atmosphere was amazing and worth every dime through and through.
I would 100% come back and recommend this place to anyone that values art, elegance, as well as comfort all on top of the best night sleep you will ever get on vacation. I also would recommend the locals to check out Little Owl for coffee or their matcha-- the nooks both on the first and 2nd floor are designed for comfortable work or chat over coffee spaces. Stellar Jay being their roof top bar upstairs is a great atmosphere for dinner especially for dates or intimate socializing just as their brunch/ breakfast restaurant downstairs, at Pasque, was 10 out of 10.
If toiletries are anything of the sort was required, places such as Target or shopping plazas were all within comfortable walking distance. Being a beautiful carbon friendly elegant functioning art piece, it was even more impressive how centralized it was to all the art museums, as well as other local gems, one would want to visit be it on foot or short ride share.
I disliked nothing.
Design AND food
Booking misleads THE customer regarding “ parking”
They actually offer valet parking for 64 dollars a night
This is not the same
All of the staff were cheerful and helpful.
They never seemed annoyed and were always ready to assist me with any of my questions.
The lobby is beautiful. I appreciate having the local Little Owl cafe on the first floor. The staff were friendly. I ordered food to go from Pasque and it was delicious.
My room was super tiny and it smelled like smoking meat the whole time. The lighting was not nice and the towels weren’t absorbent.
Friendliness and attention to detail was top notch!
Funky, good vibe, eclectic and sophisticated. Excellent coffee and great restaurant.
Rooms are quite small and half of the bathroom (sink etc) is in the bedroom, not where your shower and toilet is. Lighting is difficult in front of the mirror. You’ll have to make a request with reception to have someone come and make up your room.
The uniqueness of the themes carried throughout and the overall comfort of the room
