9.9 out of 10, great place, incredible food & brilliant staff.
Pros:

Well organised & modern, the rain shower was powerful & hot, the best I’ve had in a long time. Steak Pie was lovely, had it both nights.

Cons:

My only reason for not giving a 10 was due to the single beds, very uncomfortable for me. Literally sank in to the bed & I could hear the springs when I moved. 2 poor nights sleep for me but I still would go back.

Great ,couldn’t fault room ,Sunday dinners ,they would get a 10 from len . Perfect and staff great too

Very clean room ,close to where we needed to be .

Cons:

Only thing they don’t do breakfast ,but a Morrisons down road or few cafes about that do,and rooms don’t have hair dryers ,which ment running round to get one ,Tesco in ystrad sell them

ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, EXCELLENT SHOWER AND AIR CON.
Pros:

DIDN'T HAVE BREAKFAST BUT ATE IN THE RESTAURANT THE EVENING OF ARRIVAL. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND THE UNEXPECTED QUIZ WAS THE CHERRY ON TOP :-)

An excellent place to stay
Pros:

The room was tidy, very comfortable, and quiet. A cozy place to relax and rest. Although the reviews indicates that it was a great place to stay, it really exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the pub has great food. Well done to the owner!

The whole place was just amazing food, atmosphere and location

Cons:

We were in room 2 and unfortunately one of the beds was very wobbly - my husband is not the smallest of people and felt the bed was going to break. So not a good night sleep for him

We would like to stay again but not on those beds
Pros:

It was in my home town so convenient for visiting family.

Cons:

Our beds were very soft and uncomfortable so two nights not sleeping well. TV didn’t work (wasn’t programmed) and sink had no plug for my husband to have a wet shave.

Very clean and tidy. Food & drinks very nice

Cons:

Tv didn’t work, contacted number provided in email and received no response. About 45 minutes later a waitress came up to try to fix the tv, she had no clue which wasn’t her fault. Once she realised she couldn’t fix it she assured us that maintenance (who weren’t onsite) would be in touch with me to try to resolve the issue….nobody got in touch.
She did say if nobody got in touch to ring down to the bar and let them know but as she had already said earlier on in the day that they were understaffed so I didn’t call to bother them.

Perfect getaway
Pros:

Another stay here and it was just as good as before! Even though I only live about 2 miles away, staying at Murray’s rounds off the perfect evening.

Overall all good , just need beds and lights to be sorted
Pros:

Very clean and tidy . Very clear instructions how to get there . Also had air plugs ready , as it’s a pub .

Cons:

Lights in shower on sensor , so when you in shower lights go off, so you can’t see anything
Really need new beds . Whoever is in charge, should really try those beds before let guests sleep .
