Very pleasant hotel, choose a lodge at the back, worth the money

Yes was ok staff Sunday evening and Monday morning could have been more pleasant
Pros:

Breakfast was ok did ask for crispy bacon and seemed to be ignored as came the same as my partner

Cons:

Attitude of serving staff on the evening of Sunday the 13th and morning of the 14th didn't realise a smile was extra to the senior waiting on staff no smiles just business like and it seemed as we were an inconvenience but on the Monday night and Tuesday morning it was quite the reverse and couldn't have been more welcoming

Will certainly return the smell in the room must surely be a one off.

Super location in a beautiful area. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Cons:

A lovely property. Our only issue was there was a horrible smell in our room and we had to open windows wide to make it bearable.

Great night away with friends.
Pros:

Lovely bar, bedroom was very comfy and spacious.

Cons:

Food wasn’t as good as I expected from the reviews. Pretty average for the money.

Pleasant stay all round.
Pros:

Lovely clean and spacious room with the most comfortable bed. We slept so well, and that's rare for me. Dinner, breakfast and service was top. Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty surroundings with a pleasant river walk close by.
