Camera spaziosa, pulita e vista dalla struttura spettacolare
La posizione è molto in alto. Se andate in agosto, con l’isola più affollata del solito, se non avete il motorino (ricordatevi di prenotarlo che ce ne sono davvero pochi) diventa scomodo. I balconi hanno i parapetti alti: se vi distendete sulle comode sdraio o anche solo vi sedete al tavolo a fare colazione la vista sparisce perché impedita dai muretti.

The room is spacious and has a large balcony with a lovely view. Unfortunately, the overall standard of cleanliness and maintenance was not quite what we expected for €200 per night.
There was a noticeable musty smell when entering the room and we found stains on some of the bed linen, towels and curtains as well as mosquito marks on the walls.
The sleeping pillows were particularly problematic as they had a very strong musty/mouldy smell. We noticed this on arrival and messaged the host that same evening to let her know. When we returned to the room the following day, the pillowcases had been changed which we appreciated, but unfortunately the pillows still had the same strong smell. We ended up sharing the one pillow that smelled the least and covering it with a towel so that we could sleep.
The shutters, the room door (no security lock) and insect screens were old and in poor condition.
The curtains were not blackout, so quite a lot of light enters the room early in the morning.
The host collected us from the port and took us to the accommodation, which was very helpful. The only downside was that the car used for the transfer was very dirty inside.
For sure we were not expecting luxury but for €200 per night we did expect a better standard of cleanliness, maintenance and basic comfort. The room itself has a lot going for it, particularly its size, balcony and view and with some more attention to details it could be a very nice place to stay.
Fick känslan av boutiquehotell, standarden på rum, uteplats och inredning var fantastiskt hög. Magisk utsikt med bra utemöbler.
Värden var hjälpsam med transport men något stressad, hade gärna hunnit få mer tips om omgivningarna.
Beautiful apartment with stunning views of Livadia. Kiki was very helpful and came to greet me at the harbour and take me to the apartment. It is very tastefully decorated and clean.

Nothing to note here, however perhaps it would be a good idea to replace mosquito nets (window screens which keep out bugs, insects, mosquitos etc.), as they are a bit outdated, and could do with some new ones.
Also, maybe pave the path which leads down to the port (for slightly better visibility & access).
Το κατάλυμα έχει καταπληκτική θέα. Βρίσκεται στο πάνω μέρος του χωριού. Το δωμάτιο ΠΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΥ ευρύχωρο, με ωραία διακόσμηση, πολύ ωραίο φωτισμό. Πολύ άνετο και αναπαυτικό κρεβάτι. Η ιδιοκτήτρια ευγενέστατη και πολύ εξυπηρετική μας παρέλαβε από το λιμάνι.

Kiki upgraded us to a studio with two huge terraces. The view is beautiful, over Livadia and the sea.
High-spec, super comfortable mattress and spacious apartment. She was very helpful, collecting us and taking us back to the ferry at the end of our stay.
Yes the walk down to the village is quite steep in places but we enjoyed it. It's well lit and only takes 5-10 minutes.
Tiny points: the kitchen sink tap was so loose it was almost falling off. The brand of capsules for the Nespresso machine tasted awful. We bought our own coffee and used the Cafetiere instead.
The design and the size of the apartment was amazing. The designer did a great job thinking of many practical yet beautiful solutions.
The apartment was really clean and we absolutely loved the quiet here.
Big thanks to Kiki as well, who picked us up and dropped us off at the harbour - as well as for making our studio available before the official check-in.
Most mosquito nets on the windows were not installed properly or so damaged that we couldn't use them.
When you open the kitchen cabinets, there is this mouldy smell - which makes sense in a kitchen made this way. This issue will probably need some rethinking in the future.
Beside that, some people may dislike the path to the town (we didn't, we knew where are we located) - yes, it's better to have proper shoes (sneakers are fine) and yes, you need to be fit to some level. It's uphill and it's uneven steps. Great cardio every day, though!
