Although The Regency Bristol has very limited parking facilities, there is restricted on-street parking around the hotel vicinity as well as a secure car park within 10 minutes' walking distance. You are welcome to drop off your luggage prior to parking.

Good for a day or two but not longer than that
Pros:

Host was very friendly and accommodating. Location was the best.

Cons:

Very small ensuite room, bathroom too small. Uncomfortable bed and very warm inside, although there was a fan but didn't make any difference. Not worth above 40 as I stayed in Ibis for 62£ which was way better and breakfast was included. Host was lovely and had a great chat though.

Cheap, hospitable stay.
Pros:

The gentleman at the front desk (unfortunately didn't get his name!) was absolutely lovely and friendly, and made me feel so welcome staying there. The location was great, perfect for the festival I was attending, and I personally liked the key code option rather than having a key! Complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms, standard hotel fare. I found the beds very comfortable. Well worth the money.

Cons:

Property is clearly a little dated, the carpets needing replaced and the walls needing a lick of paint. The beds were spotless, but other furnishings in the rooms were not- there were layers of dust on parts of the desk, wardrobe, and around the mirror was dirty too.

The manager was very polite and talkative, and had a very good understanding of local transport links and the local area. It was private and clean in the room, with a comfortable bed and facilities to make tea and coffee. Also had shower and toilet facilities with excellent hygiene. The area has a good transport connection with the city centre and the nearby temple meads railway station. Was good value for money considering the lack of advance booking on my part.

Cons:

The television wasn’t aligned with the bed, meaning that you had to watch it from a chair to get a proper view. The WiFi didn’t work in the room, meaning I had to use mobile data. The keypad at the front door to put in the access code’s malfunctioned as I returned from a concert late at night, resulting in me and a few other guests were briefly locked out of the building until the manager let us back in after roughly 5 minutes of waiting.
