La maison est reculée mais à 13 min de Hengifoss. Le lieu est calme et la maison charmante. Ca sentait le propre en arrivant, la chambre pour 2 est relativement spacieuse et les lits confortables. On etait comme chez nous et ça a été les premiers mots du propriétaire. La cuisine est dispo pour se faire à manger. Bref rien à dire si ce n'est que j'y retournerai si je passe par la !

This was a magical stay! Our host was kind, helpful, and flexible, and he made us feel right at home. We appreciated all the info he shared about local history and sights, and ended up visiting the fascinating little museum at the Wilderness Center just up the road. The two guest rooms and bathroom upstairs are meticulously clean, and the beds are very comfortable. We were welcome to use the kitchen, as well, which had a beautiful view up the valley. We especially loved getting to watch a video with our host of his super-talented son performing at Harpa with his band! Only wish we could've stayed longer.

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, hat sich für uns extra mit seinen Freunden auf Island in Verbindung gesetzt. Alle Räume waren sauber, es war sehr ruhig und die Lage war für uns perfekt. Der Gastgeber hat uns einige Location empfohlen und hatte auch eine Karte in der Küche, wo er uns alles gezeigt hat.
Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft gern weiter!!

Beautiful location and very nice room with a nice shred bathroom and spacious shared kitchen for cooking. The host is fantastic, very accommodating and has so much knowledge of the area, he gave great recommendations of places to visit during my stay!

Increíble locación. La casa está en el medio de un valle con unas vistas increíbles y una tranquilidad absoluta. Si vienes a ver la aurora este lugar es ideal, lejos de todas las luces.

So clean and cosy

Very welcoming owner that made us comfortable, gave a few tips about attractions in the areaand taught us a bit about Icelandic life, well equipped kitchen and bathroom (including a washing machine and a dryer), clean and comfortable rooms.

La posizione è un po' distante dalla rotta principale, ma l'ambiente esterno è silenzioso e rilassante. La camera era pulita e spaziosa.

I had a wonderful stay. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, the house and room were beautiful, and everything was very clean and comfortable. I arrived about 30 minutes late and he kindly waited for me, shared some of the history of the house, and recommended places to visit nearby. I also really appreciated the morning coffee and our conversation about Iceland and the area. I ended up visiting some of his recommendations and loved them. I’m very thankful for the hospitality and only wish I could have stayed longer.

A very familiar calm place, great hosts
