Did not have breakfast, but was probably very good. Did not see bathroom, but liked that there was both bath and shower choice. The house and toilet facilities appeared nice and clean.
Found room space too limited and more suited to single occupancy. Stairs rather narrow and steep. I am disabled. Host could have been more helpful in resolving issues.

Joy and her husband were so welcoming, felt like we were staying at a friends house with how lovely it was. Very comfy bed and lovely breakfast. We absolutely loved being sat out in the garden with a coffee and cuddling with their dog, Dexter. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and better hosts.
We didn’t like the fact we had to leave. Could’ve easily stayed longer with how lovely it was

Friendly welcoming hosts and a clean, cosy and comfortable room.
The owners were very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was very comprehensive and fresh. Other drinks were offered at other times too.
The property was quite large. My room wasn’t large but the bed was extremely comfortable and all facilities were there. The facilities were as advertised.
The breakfast for me was very good as I don't have cooked first thing so the continental was great. I liked the homely atmosphere of the owners who are splendid hosts. Its a great base to work from as the area is surprisingly expensive so its a little gem for those on a budget. The property is quaint and charming and the hosts make you welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend and will use again when in the area.
There wasn't anything I didn't really like, as a seasoned traveler its was as I was expecting a B&B but with soul character and charm. If I had 1 negative it would be signage when first locating the premises, if you were looking for it in winter months it might be a tad challenging when darker nights set in.
It was continental don’t like that prefer proper cooked breakfast. No on sweet shower room downstairs lovely people but wouldn’t stay again

Joy certainly lived up to her name and her husband whose name escapes me was also a very pleasant gentleman. The house was full of character . Their pet dog and car were full of character and made it homely. John and Margaret ( Gore ).

The owners are very friendly and happy for you to use their kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourselves. They are very inviting people and we would stay again
