Pros:

Wir durften drei wunderschöne Nächte in dieser besonderen Unterkunft verbringen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohlgefühlt.
Die beiden Gastgeber sind so herzliche und inspirierende Menschen. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe sie in diesen Ort stecken. Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen.
Das Zimmer war perfekt: sehr sauber, modern ausgestattet mit Klimaanlage und Ventilatoren, dazu ein super bequemes Bett. Der Ausblick durch die große Fensterfront ins Grüne war einfach traumhaft. Auch der kurze Weg zum wunderschönen Strand hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Im Mai hatten wir den Strand fast immer für uns alleine. Einfach paradiesisch. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die Hängematten, die man sich nehmen und zwischen den Palmen aufhängen konnte.
Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.
Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Cons:

Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, ist die Straße zur Unterkunft etwas länger und teilweise nicht ganz angenehm zu fahren. Aber die Ankunft dort macht alles wieder wett.

Pros:

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Hotel Nereus. Mit Sicherheit eine der besten Adressen in Puerto Jimenez. Tolle, geräumige Zimmer. Ruhig. 3 Minuten Gehweg zum menschenleeren mit Palmen gesäumten Strand. Kurze Distanz nach Puerto Jimenez, wo es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt.

Beautiful oasis in the nature
Pros:

Our stay at Nereus Retreat was truly outstanding. Being in such a remote location, it was very important for us to feel comfortable, safe, and at home—and Nereus delivered on all of that.
The retreat is a beautiful oasis, offering a perfect balance between nature and well-maintained, spotless facilities. It’s an ideal place both to explore the surrounding environment and to fully relax.
The location is exceptional, just a short walk from a stunning, secluded beach that was always quiet and felt like our own private paradise.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the care and attention to detail shown by the owners and staff. They anticipated our needs and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was another highlight—healthy, balanced, fresh, and absolutely delicious.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Familienzimmer mit toller Ausstattung. Viel Platz zum Ausbreiten und Aufhängen etc. Wir waren vom Frühstück und Abendessen begeistert und wären gerne länger geblieben. Der Strand war unglaublich schöne. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nereus is one of those places I should be gatekeeping.
Pros:

Nereus is an amazing architecturally appealing small retreat. Stuart and Jen are not only kind and willing to book tours and taxis but also intuitive about offering the perfect amount of interaction. The food is divine and plentiful. The location is ideal - tucked off the sprawling beach that looks out over the Golfo Dulce. A dreamy place to escape.

Détente à Puerto Jiménez
Pros:

Logement propice à la farniente entre deux randonnées, la plage est à proximité.
Une atmosphère conviviale se dégage des hôtes, ils sont disponibles et arrangeants.
Très bon rapport qualité prix pour le repas du soir ou un buffet pleins de spécialités nous ai proposé.
Le petit déjeuner est également super bon.

I would come back every time I could, it’s excellent
Pros:

The place has a super chill and quiet vibe, excellent for a good rest and peaceful vacation.
The service is really good, the food is incredible and different.
We didn’t have the time to do yoga or surf which are activities offered at the place, but it has everything you need.
Stuart is an excellent host.

Cons:

The room was really big and comfortable, the bathroom had a bidet and it had a terrace.
Unluckily, the terrace and the view of the room was interrupted by the stairs of the room upstairs which really affected privacy as the neighbors who walked by could see inside the room if you hadn’t drawn the curtains.

Great jungle and beach retreat!
Pros:

It's a beautiful remote property, with lovely hosts that run this less like a hotel and more like a bed and breakfast. The meals were delicious, and guests can sit and eat community style, which we loved. We did yoga in the morning with the hostess as much as we could, and really enjoyed that as well. One of the best locations we've been to!

Lo que buscabamos
Pros:

El lugar tiene una excelente ubicación y la salida directa a la playa le da el plus a la estancia. Los desayunos y cenas son deliciosos y saludables y la atención del personal es excelente. La naturaleza está por doquier, aves, monos, peces, hasta delfines, simplemente hermoso.
Solo puedo decir que lo recomiendo 100%.

Pros:

Serene beauty, lovely owner couple. Very quiet place. Yoga studio is a gem in the middle of the jungle and already has good energy. Easy access to the beach that feels like a private piece of paradise. The food is gluten-free and delicious.
