Pros:

Nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück. Alles hat geklappt.

Cons:

Sehr dunkles Zimmer, auch wenn das Licht angeschaltet ist..lediglich zwei kleine Spots in der Decke, Nachttischlampe defekt. Lüftung im Bad ging nicht, daher sehr warm und feucht alles.

Formal Complaint and Request for Full Refund – Unsafe and Unacceptable Accommodation Conditions

I am writing to submit a formal complaint regarding my stay at Hotel Wessinger from July 26 to July 29. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing and fell far below the minimum standards of comfort, hygiene, safety, and guest assistance that can reasonably be expected from a hotel.
I booked a family room, consisting of a double bed and an additional sofa bed area. The hotel was fully aware that a child would be staying in the room as this information was included in the reservation.
Upon arrival, we discovered that the room had no air conditioning, which was an extremely serious issue considering that temperatures in the Frankfurt area were close to 40°C (104°F) during our stay. The lack of any adequate cooling system made the room almost unbearable, especially during the night.
To make matters worse, we also found cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable from both a hygiene and accommodation quality perspective.
After raising these concerns with the hotel, I was assured that a fan would be provided to help alleviate the situation. However, this promise was not fulfilled promptly. It was only on Sunday that a small desk fan was finally placed in the room. This fan was clearly inadequate for a family room and entirely insufficient given the extreme temperatures. Even with this fan, our child struggled significantly throughout the night and suffered considerable discomfort due to the excessive heat.
Another extremely concerning issue was the complete lack of guest support during much of our stay. I made numerous attempts to contact the hotel by telephone without success. My calls went unanswered, and there was no effective way to reach a member of staff or a responsible manager.
According to the information provided by the hotel itself, reception closes in the evening, and after those hours guests are left with virtually no assistance.
