Convenient
A couple of things were broken and no one to report to eg hairdryer & shower tray filling up
Villamar is right on the beach in Salema, a quiet, low-key, slightly Boho 'resort' east of Sagres. We loved it and can't wait to return.
We were late arriving but were sent all the details to access our spacious, light room. Keypad entry.
Rita provided beach towels and recommended local restaurants.
Our room on 2nd floor had a balcony overlooking the lovely beach, which had parasols and loungers, included in the price .
Fridge in room was great. We bought yogurt and fruit for breakfast from the little supermarket almost next door which also sells sandwiches, croissants, nice beer and champagne! .
Tea and coffee and bottled water were provided and daily housekeeping.
Shower was great, WiFi was very good.
Nothing. If I'm being picky.the lights on the landing were slow to come on, so it was dark for a few seconds too long.
Lage, Balkon, Komfort, Sauberkeit, Strand, kostenfreie Liegestühle. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass es Salema gelingt, seinen Charme beizubehalten - keine Hochhäuser, kein Ballermann, ehemaliges Fischerdorf mit kleinem, aber feinem Strand und mehreren guten Restaurants.

Locatie is perfect.
We hebben meer betaald om een jacuzzi te hebben, deze werkte niet. De hygiëne liet ook de wensen over, plinten, ventilator, vuilbak naar toilet waren echt vies. Aan de receptie was de laptop wel aanwezig met een postit erop afwezig…
Auf unserer Wanderung auf dem Fischerweg waren wir zwar immer mal wieder direkt an der Steilküste mit schönem Meerblick. Im Villamar ist man aber direkt am Sandstrand. Einmalig, toll, schön! Im Appartement im 2. Stock lag uns der Strand zu Füßen. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren neu, sauber und modern eingerichtet.
Es gibt keine Frühstücksoption, aber im gleichen Gebäude gibt es eine Pastelaria. ⁹
Ligging aan het strand en aan de Fisherman trail. Strandbedjes onderdeel van de kamers. Schone en frisse kamer, fijne douche en goed bed. Je hoort de zee de hele nacht.
Heel gehorig. Wakker van de wekker van de buren. Verder geen geluidsoverlast. Zeer rustig. Verder is de locatie wat onpersoonlijk.

Wir haben auf dem Fishermen's Trail hier übernachtet und waren begeistert. Das wunderbar helle, grosszügige und saubere Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick (toller Balkon!) hat uns überzeugt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich willkommen geheissen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Abendessen im angrenzenden Restaurant (wo auch das Frühstück eingenommen werden konnte) war hervorragend. Der Fishermen's Trail ging direkt neben dem Hotel weiter, also auch dazu wunderbar gelegen. Gerne wären wir noch länger geblieben.
