Parking was an issue
Perfect location for visiting the city! Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious.
I have waited almost 2 months to review this hotel because I wanted to give them time to refund our deposit. Never happened. First, the hotel is lovely, in a great location, spacious, clean, perfect actually. However, the fact that there is no one on duty after 7 pm is deal breaker for us. We will NEVER again book a hotel without 24 hr. reception. Having had a 30 hr. flight, exhausted with dying phone service, etc., we were to pay a deposit by phone in order to be admitted into the building and our room. We are older and not very used to using our phones for this purpose. It took us over 2 hours and an incredible amount of frustration to finally get in. Since then, I have called numerous times for the refund of the deposit which we have never received. I just checked our credit card statements once more and nothing was refunded. We stayed in late March! I am tired of calling Australia, so I have given up.
See above.
Location was great for Carriageworks. Lots of grea cafes around as well.
Location to the train station and some eateries or something that I like about the Property
Can like it when I turn on the sign to make up my room, but there’s no one attended to it and also didn’t like it that I came after 7 PM and there’s nobody to open the doors or to check me in. I have to make a call. I have to stand outside the property and waited for them to give me a code which I think should be improved.
It’s a great location if you’re attending the Sydney Writer’s Festival with lots of great places to eat nearby and an easy walk to Redfern Station.
Cleanliness, room configuration, proximity to the city and local interests.
No landline phone in the room in case of an emergency connecting to front desk. Very bright lights close to the door which could not be dimmed.
Super Lage, bequeme Betten.gute Ausstattung
Location to venue
Nothing
Lovely spacious, clean rooms with basic kitchen facilities & a nespresso! Great location with a supermarket and lots of eateries nearby. Redfern station was just a 4 min walk from the hotel which connects to most of sydney!
Nothing not to like.
Really lovely stay overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. The location made everything easy great cafes nearby, public transport close by, and easy access to attractions without feeling stuck in the chaos of the city. It had a relaxed, easy atmosphere that made us feel at home pretty quickly. The kind of place you come back to after a long day and instantly exhale a little.
Parking was definitely the trickiest part for me and took a bit of planning. Once we settled that though, it wasn’t a huge issue because most things were so accessible on foot or by transport.
