Pros:

Locatie dicht bij het centrum, veel ruimte in het appartement.

Cons:

Op een van de zitbanken (die ook als slaapbank dienst kon doen) kon je slecht zitten. Op sommige plaatsen was de verf afgebladderd.

Nice place to stay if you can deal with three flights of steep stairs
Pros:

We stayed in the top unit, up three flights of steep stairs. The unit is nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable in the unit haven’t modern well-thought-out bathroom.

Cons:

If you don’t have an issue with stairs and travel lightly, this could be a great place to stay. Stairs are an issue, if you’re traveling with lots of luggage, and if you want convenient parking, this is a very problematic property.

Pros:

Short walking distance to the Center. Stylish room with impressive room height. Windows isolate street noise very well.

Cons:

You need some physical fitness to bring suitcases / bags up to the 2nd floor over the narrow and steep stairs.

Charmante Unterkunft in zentraler Lage
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr günstig zur Innenstadt. In fünf Minuten hat man die Fußgängerzone erreicht. Der nächste Supermarkt, eine Bäckerei und das Parkhaus sind ebenfalls fußläufig gut zu erreichen.
Wir hatten zwei helle Altbauzimmer mit Fenster zum Hof und somit eine ruhige Lage. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen kurzen Städtetrip benötigt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ausgesprochen gut und sehr nett.
Wir kommen wieder!

Cons:

Das Haus war etwas hellhörig, für uns allerdings kein Grund zur Klage.

Apartment hotel in a convenient location
Pros:

Good location, spacious room

Cons:

Corridor is very noisy and we were woken up in the morning by people walking down the stairs and talking. It's an old building with high ceilings and no carpet therefore the sound travels very fast. The room lacked a full size mirror, there was only a mirror in the bathroom.

Een fijne ruimte op een goede plek voor een heerlijk weekend in Gent.
Pros:

De grote en open ruimte is het tegenovergestelde van een kleine en krappe hotelkamer. De ambiance is er erg prettig en de dakramen die elektrisch open en dicht kunnen zijn luxe!

Cons:

Het enige wat miste waren haakjes voor de handdoeken.

La ubicación, muy cerca del centro, la amplitud y la limpieza de la habitación, junto con la colaboración, vía WhatsApp, de John, el propietario, que contestaba rápidamente a nuestros requerimientos.

Disappointment in Ghent
Pros:

Location was good close to most things.
We were allowed to occupy the room early

Cons:

Upon arrival there was no one who spoke english to help us. No staff except for the cleaner who although tried her best, did not speak english.
We are both over 70 and had to go up 4 flights of stairs with 4 suitcases. Climbing the stairs we noticed broken and missing spokes between the top and bottom rails. There was a loose floorboard at the entry of the room. Definite trip hazard. The light on the wall near the bed was broken and hanging off the wall with exposed wires. The shower head ceramic bracket was broken and the shower hose was laying on the floor. A terrible smell came from the shower drain and soapy water continually bubbled up. There was no exhaust fan in bathroom, only a hole in the wall with no vent cover. The pillow slips on the bed looked used as if they had not been washed from previous occupants. Also the small cushions on the bed were stained with what looked like perspiration marks. There was no closet for clothes, only a hook on the wall. There was no safe for security items. The television was so small that it was hard to watch.
