Hotel is old. Rooms are dirty.
Spatious room, good breakfast buffet, good lighting in the room
The bathroom is quite small. The blanket was too small for the bed and the linen was too small for the blanket.
This place is worth the buck -city centre, nearby restuarants, 24X7 reception desk assistance, decent breakfast options, fairly good facilities and most of all very helpful staff especially Sofiya who even recommended places to visit in and nearby Almaty!
The carpet in Room 108 was bit stained and needs to be changed!
The rooms in Ambassador hit the sweet spot.
