Delightful stay in a charming hotel would happily return.
Pros:

A very pretty property, just what we were hoping for. The interior has a traditional German charm. The room was beautifully decorated and well equipped. The breakfast room was pretty and the breakfast was lovely. The staff, especially the lovely gentleman Otto, were very helpful and friendly.
Would highly recommend this charming hotel.

Pros:

Heel grote kamer met prachtig uitzicht. Lekker ouderwets. Hemelbed! Apart toilet en mooie badkamer met bad en aparte douche, dat was allemaal heel modern.
Goed ontbijt. Prima service.

Beautiful property in great location and with parking for 15euro which is pretty reasonable given the location and convenience. The staff were extremely lovely and breakfast was quite good as well. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting.

It was 30degrees while we were in Rothenburg due to the heat wave and due to building facade rules most places do not and cannot have air con. Honestly the room was a pretty good temperature as we had two windows allowing for a cross breeze and a large tower fan for the room which was fairly powerful.

Wie die Zeit vergeht: Der Ort: Traumhaft. Das Hotel: Eine Schmuckschatulle. Der in Ehren u Aktivität ergraute Hotelier der alten Schule: bewundernswert.
Da versteht es sich von selbst, daß alles: Zimmer, Service, Frühstück einfach PRIMA waren. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder.

Cons:

Das Wetter auf der Hinfahrt: Es hat aus Kübeln geschüttet: Aber das hat den schönen Tagen dort keinen Abbruch getan.....

Pros:

De bijzondere locatie en 87-jarige eigenaar. Het personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk. Alles was superschoon en netjes!

Cons:

Het was die dagen onwijs warm weer, rond 38 graden. Wij sliepen op de bovenste verdieping waar de hitte ondraaglijk was. Er stond een mobiele airco maar die deed het steeds een paar minuten en blies daarna warme lucht. Dat was het enige dat tegenviel.

Très bel hôtel familial au cœur du village de Rothenburg
Pros:

Établissement très bien placé, à deux pas de la cathédrale, et avec parking couvert sur demande. Hôtel familial. Très bon accueil et très jolie maison excessivement bien entretenue. La famille propriétaire fait tout pour que l’on se sente bien.

Cons:

Le Wifi pourrait être amélioré. Connexion coupée sans arrêt.
Pas de climatisation alors qu’à cette période, il faisait plus de 35°. Mais c’est un peu la règle dans la région. Il faudra que ces établissements s’adaptent au réchauffement climatique.

Traditional German stay in every way.
Pros:

Great location and very traditional in keeping with the town. Large room on second floor (no lift) and very nice furnishings. There is no a/c but a fan to circulate air. Germany is in a heat wave so many hotels similar regarding heat.
Great breakfast overlooking the valley.

Pros:

Burghotel was a real gem and completely lived up to its excellent reviews. Everything about our stay was wonderful: the room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from the window was spectacular, overlooking a beautiful valley with fields and forests.

The breakfast room felt like something out of a Wes Anderson movie, with charming decor and stunning views—either across the valley or toward the historic city wall. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back. And as an added bonus, there was a friendly cat wandering around the property!
