GO before Otto retires! 😊
Pros:

Truly a gem of a property: rooms and common areas oozing with medieval charm are also tastefully outfitted with modern conveniences. Decent continental breakfast elegantly presented with fine china in a dining room overlooking the Tauber valley. Prepare to be charmed by Otto, the young octogenarian manning the front/concierge desk. The large double room is smartly laid out and is equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. We felt like guests warmly welcomed by hosts into their home.

Cons:

Room 30 is on the top floor of the 4-floor walk up. We didn’t have a problem with the stairs but we think this should be communicated in advance so guests with mobility issues are provided fair warning.

Ontspannen rustig verblijf in authentieke hotel en historische binnenstad
Pros:

Rustig hotel direct binnen stadsmuur, sauna privé te huren, grote comfortable kamers, heerlijk ontbijt en super aardig personeel. Onze youngtimer kon tegen betaling in eigen overdekte parkeer garage.

Voor ons geen probleem, maar er is geen lift

Elegant accommodation with old world charm in an excellent location.
Pros:

An historic building well located close to Castle Gardens and allowing us to explore all other parts of Rothenburg by foot, and to take longer walks in Tauber Valley. We enjoyed a large, comfortable and well furnished room with fine views. The manager and staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast very ggod.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful town
Pros:

The room was a good size, the breakfast had great variety and generous and the coffee was very good. Otto and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Highly recommended
Pros:

The hotel is exquisitely located next to the ancient, medieval walls of the Old Town. The spacious room is well-equipped and has a superb view of the valley and a very good bathroom. Breakfast is also excellent. I'd be remiss not to mention the incredible work of Mr. Otto. He is the absolute best at welcoming guests and ensuring they had everything they need, from the early breakfast hour all the way to closing time.

Pros:

Otto am Empfang, das Urgestein immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ach ja, toll das es eine Garage gibt.

Cons:

Es war alles gut. Einzig die getrennte Matratze hat nicht gefallen, wegen der Besucherritze.
