Pros:

Friendly staff my room was nice

Cons:

That it was a younger place and it was a share space i opted for a private thankfully they had only for 2 nights! And I didnt realise the mosque was next door very daunting waking me up at 5am!

Pros:

It's a fairly quick walk to the happening streets of GilI T. They offer laundry services and bike rentals for a decent price. The restaurant has good food options.

Cons:

There is no hot water in the shared room and our bathroom did not have a lock. They also don't give you separate keys to the room if you're in the hostel which wasn't the best knowing my room was always unlocked. There is also a mosque nearby which has loud prayers 5 times a day, including one at 5am. The room does not come with complimentary breakfast either.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff, but poor communication and inconsistent service made the stay disappointing.

Unfortunately, the communication was very poor.

I paid for a specific room, which was clearly shown in the photos and stated in the room name, but I was given a different one. When I questioned it, I was told I had to pay an extra fee to be moved to the room I had actually booked.

I also have celiac disease, which is not a choice, and every time I requested a gluten-free option, I was charged an additional fee. (Prejudice because is not my choice)

It seemed like there was a new rule every day, and the communication between the staff was very poor.

To make matters worse, my room was never cleaned during my entire stay.

I would go back if they fixed couple of things
Pros:

I really like this hostel because it is situated close to the port, 10m walk so you don’t need extra help to get there if you have a lot of baggage. I stayed in a shared dormitory, there’s only 3 beds which is good and a private bathroom. They clean the rooms everyday. The restaurant Shack serves delicious food.

Cons:

The beds are squeaky. There is no individual light by the bed. The internet is slow.

Le lieux, l'accès, l'accueil, le petit-déjeuner

Cons:

- Le bruit du personnel de cuisine quand nous essayions de dormir à passé 22h.
- Aucun changement de linges alors que l'humidité était énormément présente dans la salle du bain.

Accueil un peu confus lors de mon arrivée

Cons:

L’hostel en lui même est légèrement éloigné du port, surtout lorsqu’on est chargé.

Chambre / dortoirs partagés comprenant plusieurs lits simples sans rideaux
Salle de bain extérieure mais fonctionnelle

Pas d’espaces communs propres à l’hostel pour favoriser les échanges. Seulement les espaces du restaurant.

Cons:

You think twice before booking this place: the rooms are up with the most dangerous and uncomfortable stairs ever!! No body mentioned that before...
second: they show a pool but everyone is allowed to come in even the ppl who isn't staying at the place, there is not privacy at all so you actually you can't enjoy the pool because is in the same as the restaurant which is public too.
3) there is many places with the same price and closer to the beach, this one is just behind the mesquite and you can't sleep well if you are light sleeper.
4) you can hear everything from upstairs so either you stay in the fancy room or up in the share room you will hear everything and imagine if they are having intimacy or just really loud after party, the mooooost uncomfortable place ever im telling you. Never again

Pros:

De kamer ziet er luxe uit maar na het optrekken van de kamerparfum rook de kamer naar een natte kelder (schimmel). De locatie is verder perfect om het eiland te verkennen en het ontbijt is er goed. De Italiaanse eigenaresse is afstandelijk en onvriendelijk.

Breakfast and dining environment

Cons:

A truly awful experience. It’s very close to a pub and extremely noisy. The room was swarming with mosquitoes, and there were stains on the bed sheets. The hot water ran out halfway through my shower, and the bathroom tap was broken. The staff were very slow to deal with the issues. I have no idea how this hotel manages to get such high ratings. If you really must stay here, please don’t choose Room 1—perhaps the other rooms are better than Room 1, but I’m not sure.
