Handy location only 10 mins walk from South Pier and close to the Pleasure Beach. Lots of new redecoration so it was looking lovely. Staff were really helpful throughout, particularly Josh in the restaurant.
The usual good quality Premier Inn experience. We have stayed here before but prefer the fully booked North Pier one, due to it's location. However, here you have a free car park.
A short walk to the front - and the nearest Wetherspoons.
The room itself was fine, no issues and a good bathroom. Service - bob on.
However, is the new style of pub attached to a Premier Inn going to be the same as this? Not being able to go to the bar and order a pint? It seems really odd.
Breakfast was OK - not the best we've ever had but OK.
I'd probably stay there again, if I had to.
Excellent stay, really helpful and friendly staff, rooms very clean. We had early check in as we had flown in to UK overnight, the staff pulled out all the stops to get a room sorted for us to have a rest
Quiet, clean, a well maintained room, welcoming staff, and convenient for the seafront (a short walk of perhaps 350m to the South Pier).
Hotel is looking very tired. Apparently it's been refurbished, not sure what the contractors actually do as it was being refurbished last year as well - only place that has been refurbished is the restaurant. Corridors grubby, the usual creaking of floorboards you find in premier inns over the past 20 years, not sure why they are unable to fix this in any of their hotels?
Avoid Room 23 - I guess it's okay for the money for a single night, but desperately in need of refurbishment and a deep. Smelt of damp. Radiator clicks for 5 minutes whenever it kicks in, woke me and our 4 year old up a few times.
We have a 4-month old baby and we're placed upstairs, which is far from ideal as the site has no lift.
Breakfast was wonderful, the restaurant is really nice and modern, the member of staff serving in the restaurant (November 24th) for breakfast is a credit to the site, the food was perfectly cooked so a damn good chef behind the scenes (think it was a female). The staff in the hotel were also welcoming. Car park is spacious and free (unusual in Blackpool but it's because it's a bit far out).
We may give it another go next year, if only to see if it's improved. The location wasn't ideal for our needs, but that's down to us not the fault of the hotel, so we will see.
I would rate this hotel zero if possible, and the company as a whole.
On a recent stay at this hotel there was a power outage, handle appallingly by the staff and customer services at Whitbread couldn't care less.
Don't make the mistake of having confidence in the good night guarantee, it means nothing, like the customer care team it is words that mean the nothing - if you've had an issue and they've had your money - they don't care.
Had a great stay from the moment we arrived to leaving.
Staff very friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for you. The girls all worked well together and had a great sense of humour especially Clare.
Yes there is building work going on, but never had any issues. The new refurbished restaurant is wow. The only little niggle I could say is I wished the food to be hotter. Apart from that 5 out of 5.
I would highly recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.👍😊
We would not personally stay at this hotel again in future as the cleanliness, organisation, food and drinks choice were not up to the usual premier inn standard and certainly were not justified in the £90/night room cost for Blackpool.
The good however; the receptionist could not have done more to try resolve the issues we had initially, so kudos to her. I actually felt bad for her as she seemed up against a day of things going wrong so management may want to look into that as it didn't seem fair to land all the issues on the receptionist.
Location - we picked this hotel as we travelled down by train, so Blackpool south is only a 5 minute walk away. There's also a garage 1 minute walk from the hotel which had reasonably priced food/drinks thankfully, as the hotel did not have this. The breakfast was poor, with very little choice and bad tasting coffee/cups for drinks.
There was construction set up outside the hotel which did not impact us staying over the weekend, so this may be bringing much needed improvements to the facility.
Room wasn't the cleanest and we had to ask for duvet covers etc to make up the sofa bed ourselves (even though we booked a double & sofa room) so that wasn't ideal after a long travel to the hotel, so we just expected more from premier inn - and certainly more for the cost of the room per night as there was a lot of other options at around £20/30 per night.
Arrived at 17:30 and was told that they couldn’t accommodate dinner until 19:30 as they ‘didn’t have the staff’. It’s pretty shocking that a hotel isn’t able to offer dinner service. Then was told that they made a mistake with my booking and could not accommodate the three of us as there was not other rooms available. Terrible experience and Will not be revisiting.
I was there on business with 9 other engineers. When we arrived Tracey the receptionist had already checked us all in all we had to do was give our names so each room could be allocated. Tracey preparation made the whole checking in experience painless and fast she was brilliant.
We had a great time at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in November 2025. We experienced a warm welcome from the staff at the Premier Inn and the food was good - fresh and good quality. The bed was very comfortable, the room was more than adequate. The hotel was quiet and nice in all regards! There was a good variety at breakfast, which was very good quality and Josh in the restaurant was just brilliant. Very friendly, funny and professional. Parking was easy and right next to the hotel, so all good. 10 minute walk into Blackpool Pleasure Beach (South Pier end of Blackpool).
The hotel was great. Clean, fresh rooms and welcoming staff. It came to the next day and we went across for breakfast. I arrived first then my partner mins later, I told the staff he would be there in 5 mins. The staff were extremely rude in the beehive and very loud. They shouted at me and my partner cause my partner started taking food and they hadn't realised he was part of the hotel. The plates felt gritty and the breakfast contents were nearly gone. The breakfast was poorly stocked and the continental items were rock hard and left in the open air. What really put me off was the amount of fly's around the beehive restaurant next to the hotel. I won't be back for these reason.
reakfast service during my recent visit. There was not enough food available, and what was out did not seem fresh or hot. The fried eggs looked like they had been sitting out for quite some time, there were no hash browns or scrambled eggs available, and the overall selection was very limited.
Several staff members were walking around but seemed unsure of what to do, and the manager appeared too busy with paperwork to notice the issues in the dining area. This was my second visit, and unfortunately, it was nearly identical to the first experience.
I paid for three breakfasts, and given the poor quality and lack of service, I feel a refund would have been fair. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements, as I would like to see a better standard in future.
Nice and easy to get to from the train station and centrally located for easy onward travel. Katy was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Recommended.
Very clean rooms,
Staff always on hand and helpful.
Good sturdy mattress, And a decent breakfast.
Loved my stay
Thanks team
The rooms were run down and filthy, dirty/stained sheets. The car park is not clearly signed and it is not "directly opposite the hotel". Honestly didn't think Premier Inns existed like this.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights whilst attending a course in the area. Was surprised as to how quiet it was for a main road location and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on. Would stay again if in the area.
My first time at Premier Inn and honestly not impressed. The room was cold with no way to control the heating. The TV isn’t smart, and the volume is locked at 16, so you can barely hear it. No microwave either because it’s a “fire hazard” — yet there’s a kettle and hairdryer. Overall, not great value for money, and I’d appreciate some sort of goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.
Attended this hotel as a last min get away really friendly reception staff clean room and tasty breakfast
Only thing that let this place down was a power cut - middle of my daughters shower it went pitch black - asked staff if there was any torches - no one came back to me!
Great access from the M55 and distance to the tram along the promenade.
Room was tired looking and tea facilities as usual for premier inn, very poor.
Asked for a walk in shower room, but had all the facilities for disability. Only one bedside table, a double bed instead ofxa king-size and no storage for non-hanging clothes. Food mediocre, usual pub menu available.
