Just a couple of points. Unhelpful at check in regarding rooms on the same floor. Cold plates for a hot breakfast. Undercooked bacon. No milk available one night. Room was cold and heating just kept clicking off. Plus side 2 extra pillows given for a fractured wrist. Luggage storage was available. Good location
Room allocated was extremely damp. Unable to open window in room. Complained to manager and moved to another room. Been same for over a year. Windows need to be replaced. Paid £140 for room. Have enquired about getting a refund. Totally unexceptable.
This is one of the best hotels i have stayed in. It was beautifully presented. Everything from 1st entering was superbly presented, the rooms were pristine, we had the absolute pleasure of having an evening meal and breakfast, which were outstanding both in quality and presentation.
One night stay. Hotel is in City Centre. Central Station 10 min walk away. Queen St Station 5 mins away. Room was very comfortable. I had a goos nights sleep. Hotel convenient for Airport Bus. Nice bar and restaurant area.
Great location for trains and shopping. Staff were very friendly. The hotel room was clean, a little tired looking, but had a strong smell of damp.
The menu in the restaurant is not great for coeliacs. This could easily be improved.
Lazy, jobs worthy staff who really couldn’t give a damn.
Too busy to assist at checkin when approached, too busy to assist with finding me a breakfast seat at 09h30. Came down for food at 21h05. Was made to wait until exactly 21h15 only to be told the kitchen closes at 21h15. Very poor attitude = very weak management
The Premiere Inn at Glasgow Airport was a fantastic stay after a long day of exploring! I didn't have time to enjoy any of the fantastic facility options, but did enjoy a nice shower and a good nights rest before catching my early flight the next morning. Will easily recommend this location to anyone, and will consider other Premiere Inn locations in the future.
The free Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor. Additionally, there were not enough irons or ironing boards available.
Room had no opening window. Not stated when I booked. I can not be the only person who expects - and needs in order to sleep - fresh air. Otherwise everything was okay.
Unfortunately this is the second time we spent there and it wasn't a good one . Paid for early check in and it wasn't ready until nearly and hour after the time we were meant to check In. A cleaner let themselves into our room at 1ish when we had not long got in and the next morning a cleaner did the same at 9.30am. We were still in bed was really unprofessional. Also we got told we didn't need to book the restaurant then were told there was nothing available. Such a disappointment.
Good location for SEC arena, walking distance to west end Finnieston area which is where I was headed.
I struggled with self service checkin however was helped by a member of staff when pressed help button.
Room was lovely- nice fresh decor, great bathroom with bath & overhead waterfall shower.
Was delighted to have received a premier plus room on 5th floor. These have coffee machines, mini fridge & chocolate treats. Also code for free super fast WiFi!!
Was all good in my experience.
No noise & so a peaceful nights sleep in my very comfy bed.
I didn’t book for breakfast so can’t comment. Did enjoy some wine in the bar. Lovely bar man recommended a bottle as most cost effective (I shared this).
Bar area could have been a bit tidier however not the end of the world.
Hotel a bit pricier than Woukd normally pay probably due to location however being given a premier plus room was a nice sweetener.
The hotel location is ideal for accessing the central shopping area of Glasgow. The hotel was of a superb standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome
Usual very good standard of room, quiet, and very well located close to Queens Street station-we stayed at George square hotel-would consider staying here again if we return to Glasgow
Great location, riverside view from the bedroom window and looking out over the Clyde. Stayed 2 nights and took the meal deal both nights. Evening meals were excellent, again the retardant looked out over the river. The Buffet breakfast had a great choice, however the cooked breakfast items were not really hot, especially the bacon which was virtually cold. All hotel and restaurant staff were great, very helpful and obliging. A special mention for Denise on reception, who went over and above to be helpful, even went outside with us to point out the Transport Museum location.
Very friendly lady with a great personality and a credit to the establishment as they all were.
First room we had had a terrible
Smell of mould and the condensation was so bad from the windows the carpets were soaking wet . Moved rooms but the smell took ages to go from my septum. The service in the bar area was awful . Warm dessert arrived cold and the women who was supposed to be the duty manager had a terrible attitude. Poor service. Won’t be returning in a hurry
Chose the hotel because it was a reasonable rate and close to the SEC where I was working. Good location for that, although not a lot else around if you don't go into the city to eat. Staff were really lovely, genuinely felt welcomed. Upgraded to Premier Plus room (very quiet, top floor) and the little extras, slightly larger room, coffee machine, fridge, iron and ironing board, just made it a bit more comfortable. Some thought had gone into the design - a socket near the bed for instance, although not to the size of the windows which was a shame as I was riverside and wanted a view.
We had a great stay - everything was good, including the service, the room, the facilities and the restaurant. It enhanced our overall FANTASTIC experience of Glasgow. Thanks!
As im disabled I was horrified re my stay at this hotel the i arrived around 9pm Friday 7th November 2025 check in absolutely horrendous eventually I was allocated room 216 when I arrived at room for my stay I was greeted with dirty room bed not made dirty towels in bathroom absolutely shambles eventually I relocated to different room and also told by manager just to fill form online and I wud receive a full refund due to the stress and condition of room which I gladly completed BUT WAS REFUSED after waiting a week
Very helpful letting us in before normal entry time, shared all the info we needed. Lovely reception area and bar and dining area. The room was very good lovely big windows letting in plenty of sunshine that day.
Not sure I'd rush back, but I got what I paid for. All you need to know about the property is a heavy reliance on cutting out people in favor of automation. And it's a business run on upselling.
You check in via computer screen and QR code, so don't expect a warm greeting from anyone. Instead, you're interrupting a bartender or restaurant server if you have any questions or issues with the check-in screen. Your key card is required for just about every set of doors off of the lobby. And the restaurant menu comes with many upgrade options at a cost. That said, my evening meal came with an upgrade option for a drink from the bar and free breakfast for I think 26 pounds for everything which was pretty reasonable. A shame my entree wasn't really worth that price as it all seemed previously prepared and thrown in the microwave, with a defrosted dessert smothered in sauce.
Others on here have complained about the noise at this hotel. But when I stayed in mid-November that was not an issue.
It's a short five-minute walk from the Queens Street train station and about a 15-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops and retail options within a short walk if you don't want to dine at the hotel.
Buchanan Street and all of its shops are within a 10-minute walk.
Finally, if you're staying at a Premier Inn, you know what you've paid for, and you know what you're getting. Greatly reduce your expectations and you won't be disappointed.
