Important information:

There is no on-site parking at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available nearby at Southgate Shopping Centre Car Park (BA1 1TP) at £18 for 24 hours, midnight - 9.30am is £10, managed by Bath and North East Somerset Council. Alterative, chargeable off-site parking is available nearby at Avon Street Car Park (BA1 1UF) at £15 for 12 hours and there is no charge between 8pm and 8am, manage by MiPermit.
From the M4, exit J18 and follow the A46 towards Bath city centre. After approx 7 miles take 3rd exit onto the A4 towards Bath city centre. After 1.5 miles bear left on to Gay St, continue through Queen Sq and then straight on to Charles St, at 2nd set of traffic lights turn left on to James St West, after 200 metres the hotel is on your right located at number 4. Secure chargeable parking is available within walking distance at Southgate Central (sat nav BA1 1AQ).
A deposit may be required at the property.

Kurztrip nach Berlin

Für ein Kurztrip nach Berlin vollkommend ausreichend, das Zimmer war sauber, allerdings etwas verwohnt, die Wände sowie die Gardinen hätten mal eine Auffrischung gebraucht, Das Frühstück vielfältig, frisch und ausreichend.

Positiv hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten, die saubere Bettwäsche und die frischen Handtücher. Außerdem hatten wir einen schönen Ausblick aus dem Fenster, und die Schallisolierung der Zimmer war sehr gut.

Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Bei unserer Ankunft war das Badezimmer nicht gründlich gereinigt, was keinen guten ersten Eindruck hinterließ.

Außerdem fehlten wichtige Annehmlichkeiten, die in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie selbstverständlich sein sollten, darunter Wattestäbchen, Wattepads, Hausschuhe und Bademäntel.

Auch das Frühstück war eine Enttäuschung. Es bestand fast ausschließlich aus Tiefkühlprodukten und bot kaum frische oder hochwertige Speisen.

Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Als warme Speise wurde lediglich Tiefkühlpizza angeboten.

Im Zimmer gab es zudem keine Möglichkeit, Kaffee zuzubereiten, was den Komfort zusätzlich beeinträchtigte.

Erschwerend kam hinzu, dass sich das Personal nur unzureichend auf Deutsch verständigen konnte, was die Kommunikation unnötig erschwerte.

Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus unserer Sicht nicht. Wir hätten bei diesem Standard deutlich mehr erwartet.
