Premier Inn Coventry City Centre - Belgrade Plaza

The parking situation is insane. The website says 'limited' - understatement of the century! The bays are small and awkward even if there was a free one. The overflow is a multistorey with a hight restriction - we had to park on the road, may have been illegal - the signs weren't great. The lift to our floor and the auto check in were broken. And there was a random wing nut under the bed.
Food was great and the room was fantastic, cosy in the roof, clean, great shower. Bed was great, if a little worried there was a nut missing! Which was odd, because as previously stated so clean even under the bed.
We love premier Inn normally and will stay again. Just not at this one. Someone must have done some horrific favours to get planning for this!

I had a wonderful experience. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was fresh! (Non of that buffet business)

I want to give a special shout out to JACK! Honestly what a lovely man! Helped me throughout my stay, managed to help me with a late checkout and made my grumpy kid smile all morning

I will be staying her every time I come to Coventry

Our first visit to this site.
We hadn't stayed the night but came in for a big (and bargain) all you can eat breakfast before a day of Christmas shopping.
My boy LOVES a Premier Inn Breakfast, but usually prefers a 'cooked to order' as he can be fussy with "how things are cooked" 🤦😂
However, ever-the-critique and over honest 8 year old; he has branded this A* for the crispy yet fluffy Hash Browns and perfectly cooked Eggs.
Everything was lovely and Rob was constantly topping up the cooked food to ensure it was fresh. -Even at 10.30 in the morning with half an hour of service left. He was friendly and talkative at the service hatch area and engaged with my Son and offered help serving if needed.
Even though we were quite near the end of service, we weren't made to feel "hurried" to finish and leave and the Host (I didn't catch her name) was also kind and attentive.
The dining area was spotless and well maintained and the Christmas decor looks great.
We will return when next in Colchester! 🙂

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional throughout our stay.
Everything was wonderfully clean and tidy, creating a really welcoming atmosphere.

A special mention goes to Alfie, the best chef! We absolutely loved every dish he prepared; his food truly made our stay memorable.

Sophie was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with a smile.

Natalie was very professional and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable.

Emma was also wonderfully helpful and attentive.

We would definitely recommend this hotel branch to others. It’s a place where you feel genuinely cared for.

We use premier inn on many occasions but we are extremely unhappy with our recent stay. The alarm on the air con unit kept going off. We reported it to reception and they said it was because we had used deodorant in the room and it would go off shortly. Well it never and reception had turn the unit off at the trip switch box. The room was then extremely hot all night. We reported it again and were told to open the window. Also the room hadn’t been cleaned sufficiently as there were peanuts and a battery under the bed, which we have a photo of. Very bad customer service and we are unlikely to stay again.

Everything was great. Nice hot shower, spacious room, clean and well laid out. Endless tea. The hotel staff were all very nice. Good location

Nice quiet location, and we didn't have any problems finding a space in the car park. The 2 rooms we booked were both very clean and comfortable. We had both an evening meal and breakfast, and staff at both were absolutely lovely - really helpful and welcoming. The food was great quality too!

Following our car breakdown, Natalie the receptionist invited us into this Premier Inn and provided coffee and cakes and a wonderfully kind welcome. At a very stressful time for the family, Natalie represented Premier Inns in the best possible way. She told us how much she loved her job, Premier Inns, you have an employee to be proud of.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Nice clean room we ate evening meal in town but had breakfast at the Premier Inn. Full English cooked fresh to order by Alfie and it was amazing. Sophie and Natalie front off house and in restaurant were again very nice and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable.

Great, Jack, Sami and Norma were fantastic. Thank you all. We had a very enjoyable stay, it was a business trip and made all the more comfortable by the good service and friendly welcome we received.

It's a lovely location near the Dutch quarter but parking is limited and the building is the usual bland architecture..There were no staff on reception for long periods .I don't want to have to book into a hotel via an app .

Awful service, room ok, but the guys on reception were not at all helpful and as for the restaurant, worst I have ever been to. Same guys we're serving and they really did training in hospitality.
Ok if you need a basic room but avoid the restaurant at all costs!

Comfortable rooms, convenient location. Could be perfect. EXCEPT extremely limited breakfast availability: small breakfast room + massive hotel = very few times available to book at checkin, none which we could do. Way worse than other Premier Inns, and lots of guests were affected (one after the other at check in) this weekend. So pre-paying our breakfast was basically pointless. We took the refund and managed to eat elsewhere. But breakfast is part of the point of a premier in stay, so we really didn't get what we were sold, or what we booked.

Great experience . Room great, food great, staff excellent.
Rob, Jess Caleb and rest of crew made our trip with their attentiveness, humour and professionalism, go beyond service.

natalie and sophie - very friendly and most professional during the whole visit.
also, whoever was on reception during the evening, assisted when we experienced noise from the room next door, this was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily without fuss.

I chose this hotel as it is centrally located but in a quiet area. Check- in time is inflexible as we found out. 40 minutes early, we were offered an "early" check in for 15 pounds and declined. Another couple who were 20 minutes early were given the same response. . The room was good, very quiet as desired, and the twin beds very comfortable. Extra pillows were provided and used. Breakfast selection was excellent and good value. We elected to eat dinner in the same restaurant, and the meals were also good as was the service. We will certainly use this notel again.

Stayed at the Premier Inn near Colchester Castle last night for work. I checked in late about 8:30 pm and was met with a very helpful ,pleasant charming and hospitable receptionist/host called Jess. Nothing was too much trouble for this member of staff, I then went down for breakfast at 6:30 am And she was still working. I sat and listened to her interact with all the guests during breakfast. she was polite, engaging, extremely helpful, premier Inn you are extremely lucky to have this member of staff in your hospitality team if only every member of staff in the hospitality industry was like Jess ..:She really made my day ! Great stay ! Mr McManus

We had a lovely stay at Premier Inn, made truly memorable thanks to Jess and Maria. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were absolutely fantastic with my grandson – so kind and thoughtful. The food was hot and delicious, but the real highlight was the warm, friendly service. Jess and Maria are absolute stars and a credit to the team!

Functional hotel ok for a short stay. Bathroom required updating, unfortunately no chef available to provide hot breakfast. Staff very helpful even in difficult situations.

Massive shout out to Jack, who was absolutely brilliant with my young son on our trip. He was really kind and made him feel at ease. Outstanding customer service! Thanks Jack!
