Limited on-site chargeable parking is available at £2 per hour or £7 per 24 hours.

Alternative parking is available at Library Road Car Park (LA9 4QB), a 4-minute walk from the hotel. Parking is chargeable between 8am and 6pm, and free outside of these times. Parking costs £1.50 for up 1 hour, £2.50 up to 2 hours, £3.20 up to 3 hours, £3.90 up to 4 hours, £5 up to 6 hours, and £6 up to 10 hours.
From M6 (J36) take the A591 to Kendal. Take the exit for Kendal South and follow signs for Town Centre along the A6 at the end of Highgae, turn right onto Lowther St and follow the one way system, taking the 2nd left onto Blackhall Rd. At the end of Blackhall Rd, turn left at the lights onto Sandes Ave. Then, at the crossroads, go straight on to Maude Street. The hotel will be on the right.
A deposit may be required at the property.

The location was good.

Cons:

€21 for early check in when room was already available.
The room wasn't well cleaned- we found receipts under the bed from previous guests. The rooms were tired and need to be freshened up. Half the menu for lunch/ dinner was not available any more but they haven't updated their menus.
