Very good
Decent
Contacted CS prior to visit re parking. Carparking confirmed (ca £8/night). Arrived - NO hotel parking!! Had to pay over £30 for parking space. Very cross and disappointed. No solution offered by staff. Bathroom - no heating. Breakfast - no healthy options. Cooked breakfast was tepid (eg mushrooms) and limited in choice. Premier Inn in Watford had much better breakfast. All in all - not worth the money paid. We could have cancelled booking and found alternative accommodation WITH onsite parking but Premier Inn confirmed there was a hotel carpark which was VERY important to us. Annoying and very disappointing. Ps. No response received to messages complaining = poor CS
I cannot describe how far below standard Premier Inn standards this place is. I have a Business Booker account with Premier Inn and stay 1 or 2 nights every week, this place needs to be deleted from their portfolio and shut down, it is truly dreadful.
Forgetting the obvious things that other reviews say about no parking, terrible food, no Aircon and poor standards of cleaning, for me (staying in December) no heating in the rooms (and I do mean plural because I had to change due to the noise coming from the floor above) is unforgivable. To walk into two separate rooms, both of them having their windows wide open so there resemble a fridge and to have no form of heating apart from a tiny in adequate oil heater is simply diabolical. On top of that to reiterate, terrible standards of cleaning and poor decoration. The televisions in both of the rooms, were set to a volume that I could not even detect what was being said is ridiculous but that is clearly only because all of the walls and floors are Way for thin because I could honestly hear the ants walking around in the room above me. There are several Premier Inn in Bournemouth, and all of the others range from good to excellent, this place rates 0 out of 10. Once again, I will be requesting a full refund from Premier Inn business accounts, as there is no way I will be playing paying for this stay.
We had a very bad experience not been looked after by the Premier Inn as they advertise on TV causing us to come home early of the pain $400 for the weekend included the car park free outside that was a fortune
We had the best experience at the Premier Inn Central Bournemouth. We booked 5 rooms as a family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation taking place at The Pavilion across the road. The hotel was perfectly located for this but also for everything Bournemouth has to offer; the pier, beaches, gardens, bars, restaurants and shopping. The price for the best rooms was great value for money and breakfast was great. The rooms were clean, well stocked and so well sound proofed. We had the best nights sleep. Beds, quilts and pillows were spotless and top quality. Two of our rooms were booked for 2 nights and Miguel on Reception made the whole experience simple and stress free. I can’t thank him enough.
A perfect hotel for family stays
We went as a family with grandchildren in tow. The rooms were perfect and fine for our needs , clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and accommodating.
The attached restaurant was great for our needs. The staff were very friendly and the menu suited the children too. We used it for both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed the food. Thanks to Emil and Sheila who looked after us so well
This was an enquiry, before booking. Lucy made a really stressful situation into a comforting relaxing experience. She listened to my concerns, showed complete empathy and was able to assist with no hassle.
I wish all managers had these skills.
She is one in a million!!! 👌
I recently stayed at this hotel and it was a really comfortable stay. The hotel staff was super welcoming as well, Especially Gita who went out of her way to answer all our questions. Definitely recommend for everyone
Brilliant service, 10/10 rooms super clean and tidy can’t complain. Easy parking and great location.super friendly staff.
Nothing or then looks run down but you can tell all workers are doing the best they can and going above and beyond

Close to Town Centre Food available close to the hotel
I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and I'm convinced this time around they gave me the same room a last time, room number 40. The moment I stepped in the room on this occasion it reminded me of the previous occasion. It absolutely stank of mold, mildew and damp!. Also, the ventilation fan in the bathroom made a very high-pitched whirring sound which drove me scatty after being in the bathroom for more than 5 minutes or so. I went down and complained and the maintenance man came up and managed to switch the fan off for me. But complaining about the stench, the receptionist couldn't do anything and said the whole hotel was fully booked. The this I found hard to believe given it was mid-november. So I do not recommend you stay at this hotel at all. It's utter crap!
rooms were lovely and clean, had a yummy breakfast across the road.
staff were so lovely and kind, even did the raffle in the main entrance
Letter of Commendation
To the Management Team,
I don’t often find the time — or the genuine need — to write letters of commendation. I travel extensively for work and stay across a broad range of hotel groups, from IHG and Hyatt to Marriott and Hilton. Consistency varies, service varies, and usually the experience is simply “good enough” for the nature of my job.
My two-week stay at Premier Inn has stood out so clearly that it warranted being put on record.
Everything started with a genuine welcome from the two lynchpins of your hotel, Gary and Brogan. Their professionalism, warmth, and day-to-day presence set the tone from the moment I arrived. They remained visible and engaged throughout my stay, and in my view they are managers in all but title — the type of talent any organisation should be developing for the next step.
They were supported by an excellent night team who handled my overnight working patterns and regular late-night cigarette breaks with patience, good humour, and a constant “Is there anything you need?” attitude. Not once did I feel like an inconvenience; if anything, they made the disruption feel normal.
The service has been seamless, consistent, and genuinely welcoming in a way that’s rare in this industry.
Please pass on my thanks to the whole team. They are a credit to your brand, and they made what could have been a stressful two weeks feel comfortable, supported, and easy.
Kind regards,
Ashley Cave
La camera è molto datata , fredda , non mi piace la moquette consumata e da impressione che sia sporca
I've stayed in a tonne of Premier Inns over the UK due to the nature of my work, but in this instance I popped down to visit a couple of friends. Miguel takes the crown for the best service I've received in a PI to date. Accommodating, friendly, personal and funny. A real pleasure to stay and I will return. Huge thanks to Miguel and the team!
There is NO heating at all at this hotel, or so the man in front desk told us, we had none in our room and was given an oil heater that took hours to even start to warm the room, there is also no parking which does state on site however directions for car park to use are useless. Breakfast was a shambles, no fresh food and 1 coffee machine broken and 1 empty, tables not cleared or cleaned. Wallpaper hanging off walls in corridors. I have stayed in many premier inns over the years and this has to be worst yet. I have 5 more different locations booked over the next few months at premier inns but am now reconsidering my choice in hotels. This hotel was not modern, clean or comfortable.
Stinking Body Odour Bed Linen.
After driving late to hotel was looking forwards to chilling out and having a good night's sleep, oh was I going to be disappointed.
After settling down to sleep I was woken by a foul smell of BO sweat as I snuggled into the duvet.
This ruined my whole night's sleep as could do nothing to change the situation as my family were sound asleep.
Checked in morning to see what smell was and found a stinking sweaty mattress protector. I complained to reception and they said they could do nothing and I had to make a formal complaint on website.
I did ask what policy was for changing mattress protector and was told this was changed every 28days. Receptionist would not say when my rooms cover was last changed other than she would speak with housekeeping.
Honestly the stench was awful and smelt of stale BO.
I have raised a complaint with Premier Inn.
